reddsun1 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 They've done it with a Gundam; a 1/1 scale Legioss with lit visor and indicator lights ought not be too much to ask, eh? Quote

Hi Waters7, Sorry for your scanner, children are terrible for goods... Pics of booklet are really welcome, you can post them in this thread, can't wait for... akim Quote
Jasonc Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Yes I do.. what do you mean with share? you mean like posting the whole booklet or posting higher resolution pics of the images? If you could do high res scans, that would be awesome, but as you don't have a scanner, great pics are good, too. Quote
waters7 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 (edited) I know this is long overdue, but here you have the pics from the booklet Now I remember why I didn't scan the booklet back in the day. The booklet is the same size as an LD/LP sleeve and I have yet to find a scanner that will let me scan the whole thing in one pass. If anybody knows where I can get a scanner that is at least 12 x 12 and does not break the bank, please do let me know. This is going to sound a bit paranoid, but last time I shared some pictures of this booklet, the person took my pictures and started to pass them as his own work, therefore I watermarked the pictures this time. If you want an specific picture without the watermark, please let me know and I can email it to you PS: my own personal favorite is the one marked as 21 22 (as in page 21 and 22). The pictures depict the route of Stick and band from his crash landing to refless point (this is the picture that was snatched by the robotech fan and passed as his own) Edited January 3, 2012 by waters7 Quote

blackconvoy_D01 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) Awesome post waters! Thank you! Call me bad, but I favor MOSPEADA more than Macross for the fact that the Legioss and Ride Armor offensives dont mean that the weaker of the combo automatically represents cannon fodder. Tober Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 True. Funny to see Captain Power and Mask force in this book^^ I remember reading that Shinji Aramaki did the designs for the initial MASK series/toys. Did he do Captain Power too? I also seem to remember reading that he was one of the original Micro Change designers and his credits included Cassette Man, who later became Transformers Soundwave..? Quote
Hikaru84 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 (edited) Hi! I joined Macross World not long ago and I posted some Macross illustrations I made, now I want to post some Mospeada illustrations I have been working on lately as my love for a anime re appeared recently thanks to the Yamato T.V series remake. The topic treated here of the amazingly beautiful Mospeada classic line art is a kind of drug for me. I love those classic sketches, specially the Cyclone ones. I re drew the classic Cyclone Type 21 form those old line arts in a big size and in high reso. Now I am working on Rands type. I painted it and included the decals, so it is not exactly the same as the original. I also corrected some lines that should had been horizontally parallel and the wheels that were a little off. So here it is: Waters 7 said I know this is long overdue, but here you have the pics from the bookletNow I remember why I didn't scan the booklet back in the day. The booklet is the same size as an LD/LP sleeve and I have yet to find a scanner that will let me scan the whole thing in one pass. If anybody knows where I can get a scanner that is at least 12 x 12 and does not break the bank, please do let me know. Waters 7: I am very good at joining scans, as I allays make very big drawings and scan them by parts. If you like, I can paste together the scans if you send them to me, and I'll send them backj to you so you can post them with out having to get a huge scanner. I'd love to see those pics in a better reso :D . Bests: Rod Edited September 6, 2012 by Hikaru84 Quote

RavenHawk Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Are you talking about this? or this: http://www.flickr.co...avy/4255964167/ (thanks to Roger) Sorry, haven't been on here in like a year. This was the original design for MOSPEADA, which was originally going to be a police force. This eventually inspired Bubblegum Crisis and AD Police. Quote

He also did Diaclone cassettes (I assume the one that turns into a motorcycle), though there is debate about whether he did the one that became Soundwave. Perceptor, in Armada, who was a combination of three smaller robots who turned into a motorbike, a scooter, and a skateboard, was supposedly named in honor of G1's Perceptor's creator, which led to a debate about whether that was Mr. Aramaki or the other designer who worked on those, led to debates about who did Soundwave, led to conflicting interviews about both...
