gerwalk25 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 (edited) My haul was small this year but ever so sweet. The only thing I really wanted was the Orange Box for 360 which I got. I also received Kameo, Robot Chicken season 2, a Bunny Suicides book set and an unexpected gift (look under the orange box). Edited December 25, 2007 by gerwalk25 Quote
jenius Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I got a Doyusha 1/144 YF-21 from my buddy's exgirlfriend (uh... no... that's not awkward). Still, that's a sweet gift! Quote

Metal_Massacre_79 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I didn't get anything, but my boy is happy. He got a Fender Squire bass guitar with a Crate amp and a Boss tuner/metronome, a MP Starscream, a movie Thundercracker, Lego Star Wars and Avatar Burning Earth for the Wii, and some other stuff to keep him occupied for a while. Lucky little 6yr old. Quote
myk Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 But hey, that's the TRUE spirit of Christmas... Quote
Hikuro Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 A new 360 with CoD4 and Halo 3, and I think like 200 dollars which'll come in handy. Quote
eriku Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 (edited) So far... Old vinyls (Django Reinhardt, Bob Wills, Johnny Cash) some Miyazaki DVDs I had kept neglecting to pick up (Mononoke and Nausicaa) Drawn to Life for the DS (my wife thought she was buying Zelda, doh!) some awesome Tshirts (kodama, Ultraman, Yoda) A set of fantastic melmac measuring cups (i spend a good deal of time in the kitchen) Edited December 25, 2007 by eriku Quote
JsARCLIGHT Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 My holiday haul pretty much in it's entirety: Pixar Cars toys from a secret santa, Dune on HD DVD from one of my employees, Road Warrior Blu Ray from one of my friends and the HK USP Match in .45 Auto from myself... and pretty much from my wife as well because she said I could "waste more money on guns". Quote
Chowser Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Awesome USP! My wife said for Christmas I could buy a rifle. Now, if only one of the rifles I want would get made already. Quote
JsARCLIGHT Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 It's only downfall is that it's a clone and not a "real" Match. It does however have a "real" match weight, adjustable trigger and target sights (trigger and sights not installed yet, waiting on HK to give me the go-ahead to mail it in for install). It has a Jarvis match barrel with O ring that is traditionally rifled which allows it to fire a wider gamut of ammo though. It's scary accurate but heavier than holding a barbell at arm's length. lord_breetai Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 My family isn't doing Christmas presents this year, so the only person I exchanged with was my girlfriend, but I havn't got her present yet she has something small for me after work but my big present is still in the mail. She just came back from a trip to Japan but she shipped everything she bought back home, before she left and it hasn't come in the mail yet. Quote
myk Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 My wife said for Christmas I could buy a rifle. Now, if only one of the rifles I want would get made already. Rifles. The best I could legally hope for would be an AR-15 with a fixed 10 shot mag-damn CA gun laws! Anyway, an old high school buddy bought Rockband for me! Quote
gerwalk25 Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 (edited) Someone got you a white table too?! I was sleepy so my grammar wasn't up to snuff. Edited December 25, 2007 by gerwalk25 Quote
David Hingtgen Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Sv-51 Nora (you all know what it looks like) and a bunch of diecast airliners (which you probably wouldn't recognize unless you know regional US airlines of the 1980's well) Quote
Duke Togo Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Couple of Master Replicas Lightsabers (oh God, I'm one of THOSE fans now... I didn't ask for them, though!), some DVDs, a bronze statue of Takeda Shingen, a 1:48 Roy and Super/Strike set. Quote
eugimon Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 upgraded my sound system, str-dg910 and a dayton sub-100. Quote

myk Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Rockband is the most multi-player fun I've had since the Mario games on the 'Cube. Only problem is, where the hell am I supposed to put all of this stuff?! Lol, the drumset is enormous! Quote
Mog Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 (edited) Still gotta get the gifts from my friends, so I may add to this thread later. But being the BSG geek that I am, my favorite gift so far this year is a "FRAK OFF" t-shirt. Simple design, yet very effective. Edited December 26, 2007 by Mog Quote
Morikazu001 Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 This is what I got for myself this year. A 25th Anniversary VF-1S and low cost M1911. The rest of the money I saved went to presents for family and friends. Hope everyone else had as good of a Christmas as I did Quote
Wes Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Got nothing good. Only Kawamori loves me aparently... But I'm an adult, so I got myself a 24" Samsung monitor from the Black Friday sales and a few Wii games. Quote
