did they change the release date ? i thought they said "summer" or "summer-ish"

the real horror here is, how soon is it scheduled for release after the YF-21 ?

do we get a month or so to recover, or will they bury us the week after?

Can't be so soon after, i am thinking May/June.

If that we'll be lucky.

I think Yamato likes to bend us over and see how much we can take...actually give I mean.

I haven't been on this board in quite a while . . . and what greets me? News that basically tells me I'm gonna be collecting again. Damn it Yamato, I thought I was done with you.

The more I see them the more I want to snag a few, course it also makes me want to snatch up a few of the 1/48s I skipped over. My poor wallet >.<

Clever having the 1/48 included in the tv advertisement. It's still bad ass no mistaking that!

Coz i'm more prone to be wowed by a fighter mode (of variant fighter/mecha) first, 1/48 sells it more.

But owning 1/48's and displaying them to the maximum of their poseable limit in battroid, i want more.

Yamato has kicked our ass once again! Awesome battroid sculpt this time round. This line is all about battroid!

Oh baby. I just can't wait for the M&M supers now.

Yeah....those will prob. be the first if not only ones I will get. Even though previously I stated differently.

I'm definitely getting the 2 seaters and any cool non-canon versions they crank out, but I'll have to control myself on any DYRL? and most SDFM versions. I'm far more enthused with the idea of the 1/60 YF-21 and probable VF-11 than yet another VF-1.

Well, I am not too worried on this count.

I will be getting Max and Mirya and the VT-1D.

So hopefully those won't be coming out until well into the end of the year - so I can rest.

Just got VF-0A w/Ghost and Nora... so kind'a uffed out now :)

Well i can wait till the end of the year as well, i mean, what possibly could Yamato have for Christmas as a release?

I base alot of my buys around Christmas, birthdays and the odd occasional splurge, and it would be nice if they separated each release by a couple of months, three would be better.

The final mac+ valk? VF-0D? repaints galore? They could do a lot between now and these guys and I suppose there could be any number of xmas possibilities. In any case, my wallet will be hurting.

I'm worried about this too ... my toy budget is tight.

Erm Graham,

Is there any way of convincing Yamato to change the Fps color to a more DYRL accurate 'Bluish' tint than the green that was used in the 1/48 Fps?

Side parts. Please include sideparts for each valk. Sig has been updated.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

According to Yamato's latest mail magazine (and Babelfish), the ESTIMATED release date for the 1/60 VF-1 is summer 2008, and as soon as production is ready (or something like that) Yamato will announce the price.

Awesome job Datterboy. Drooling over these customs made by you and Kurt. :p

I love this angle of gerwalk, can't wait for a 1/60 VF-1D!

Can't believe we still haven't got a high end accurate perfect transformable VF-1D yet! >_<

I really do enjoy seeing this custom. Datterboy had it down smooth.

Clean and simple. Looks factory issued.

That is a really nice custom, I was never a big fan of ultra clean showroom valks but to each is own. Oh btw are we ever going to see pictures of your ultra custom VF-1D NB4M?

Posted (edited)

Valks would have to be clean and smooth one time in their service life, so why not have em clean? :p

Same as my VF-1J Hikaru Final Battle custom, sure it's the final battle, and everyone wants to see drilled holes

and burnt paint, but before he cruised out to fight the good fight it was clean... for a few minutes at least. :p

Battle Damaged releases by companies (Toynami) and by custom are both overrated and highly appreciated at the same time.
