terry the lone wolf Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Angel Cop was one of the first anime I've ever bought(maybe it was the $10 price tag). It's filled with over the top violence & B-movie dialogue that'll make you cringe. Though it's the EXCESSSIVEcursing that makes this a classic. All the best parts edited to a 4min vid on YouTube;props to the dude that did this! Quote
Roy Focker Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 The swearing is not only excessive but pointless. Quote
VF5SS Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Those old Manga Entertainment dubs really had a way with words. And remember folks, Angel Cop is Ichiro Itano's baby. He's truly a master of cinema. Quote
CoryHolmes Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Angel Cop was cool. Anything that has advanced cyborgs mowing through dozens of squishy humans is a good thing. Quote
Warmaker Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Awesome voice acting. And some of my buddies wonder why I only watch subbed anime. The scene 1 minute into the clip is great, too Quote
areaseven Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Speaking of Manga Entertainment dubs, here's another classic: Quote
Warmaker Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 (edited) Yeah, that was bad too. Video games could be the same way also, especially during the glorious 90s. After all, being an old Resident Evil fan, one cannot escape the fact that Jill Valentine was "the master of unlocking"...!!!!! P.S.- As for the clip you put up, this was golden: "Bye, bye, fu****s!" "OH, I'm FU***d!" Edited December 1, 2007 by Warmaker Quote

UN Spacy Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Sorry to bump...but I didn't know Mika Doi voiced the main character. I'd really like to track down the subbed version. Quote
Tochiro Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 (edited) I picked up the DVD second hand from an amazon seller a couple of years back so there's still copies lying around if you hunt a bit. The great thing about the subbed version is that you realize who the REAL enemy in the show is (they removed this from the dub for...probably good reason). Edited September 10, 2014 by Tochiro Quote
