Ivan Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 See if you figure out the "story" within. How come you had captions on Toysdaily but not here? Not fair! BTW, didn't you say earlier you would only pick up Roy's 1S? Quote
s001 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Hey Graham what's up with the GN-U fighters? Is yamato considering the idea? Seriously I'd buy them all. Quote

The VF-1J and 1A Max were too cheap to pass... (around US$16) Then I need the Kakizaki 1A to assemble a vermillion squad... And then I need a couple of CF... *sigh* Quote

How naive I was... Quote
spacemanoeuvres Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I bought the vf-11b, yf-21 and yf-19 GN-U's before they went on sale (prob around $17 a piece) and they're some of my favorite macross toys. Wa'aaay nicer than the revoltechs though not as poseable and sans fast packs. For $10 a pop I may buy another set for work. Quote
jenius Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I wanted to buy a Focker GNU but I still haven't found it for a reasonable price. Sigh. Quote

s001 Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I love my GN-U but I hardly touch them as much as the transformable VFs. Hey but that's the purpose of these toys. So you don't have to touch the transformable ones a lot. Quote

How naive I was... That's exactly how I started collecting the Yammies. I decided to get ONE 1/48 Focker with SSP and ONE 1J with the GBP Armor. "That's pretty much I need," I thought. Who was I lying to? I don't know. Quote

I kept thinking I had bought my first 1/72 YF-19 in 1999, but it was actually in the summer of 2000. It was the Bandai Mac 7 valks that came out in the 90's. Quote
m0n5t3r Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 bump from the dead. i've been holding off on buying any Macross toys for a long while now... so i decided to get the VF-X2 VF-11B and VF19A and for $8 apiece you definitely can't go wrong... plus i really like the color scheme for these two that i wouldn't mind it if Yamato decided to make repaints of these in 1/60 scale. no time to take them out of the box yet, just admired the crisp paintjob/paint-scheme from inside the box.
