EXO Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 "Ought" does not claim to be "is" hence why I chose my words the way I did. 31/50
Tober Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I thought it was Blowsperior: http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS03855 http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS03949 And my misspelling was a typo
misterryno Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Oh my my my......Those MH's are lookin swwwwweeeeeeeeeeeettttt!!! I may have to order a couple when they are finally released. Possibly wait till they hit the US market.
jenius Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 (edited) I thought it was Blowsperior: It appears as BlowSuperior and Blowsperior alternately. The more common is BlowSuperior so that is probably what should be considered "correct." I'm still hoping these companies do what Yamato did with the Millia name by converting it to Miria and fix the reference all together. Then again, that might cause some sort of licensing issue so maybe the seeming mistake is actually intentional. I could just picture these guys asking for permission to use the name "BroughSuperior" and being told "no" so they had a little fun and named it "BlowSuperior" instead. EDIT - I should credit Cyclone for most of this knowledge if he's still around. I was a late comer to the awesomeness of the ride armor. Edited February 24, 2008 by jenius
promethuem5 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 So freakin sold... glad to see the Blowsperior getting some love. Incidentally, when the hell are the first two MHs coming out? HLJ still has them listed as February, which is rapidly running out...
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) Mospy is deffinently getting more popular in my books now. After all it was the real "next" fav series besides SDF series back then as a kid. Only need to grab myself the original jap Mospy DVDS.... Edited February 25, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie
Shun Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) more pics.. from mega house releases.. I want it now.. more pics at: Mospeada Winter 2008 Thanks for the pix and link! I want them now too I love the ending camping scene they made... Happy day for Mospy fan~~~!! weee!!~~~ OH DAMN! YELLOW! This shall be mine! C'mon Megahouse, you're doing great. All we need now is Houquet and an add-on set with the jeep, Jim, Mint and Aisha! Please! ditto... My wishlist... I also want Mint pillon on Rey's bike too. Nice to see MH is doing Yellow and even the mustache captain guy (forgot his name). Very cool indeed. Major Jonathan... but its actually Stick with the decals (notice the toy is on top of the decal). I really hope to be able to get the decals... BTW, did anyone notice the ugly seam line on Yellow's upper arm? looks worrying... hope its not a quality issue and gets split after some time. Edited February 25, 2008 by Shun
Arthurius Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 "BTW, did anyone notice the ugly seam line on Yellow's upper arm? looks worrying... hope its not a quality issue and gets split after some time. " I had noticed it too, but didnt say anything. Hope there wont be any quality issues like that.
Shun Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) oh sh*t! i think it will be a problem. look at stick's upper arm! its the same split. >.< Edited February 25, 2008 by Shun
promethuem5 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Are you sure that's not a panel-line? It looks awfully dark and prominent for a split part issue...
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) This pic just has WIN written all over it and on the back. Totally what i want to do in my cabinet! Camp SCENE!!!!!!!! Edited February 25, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie
Shun Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Are you sure that's not a panel-line? It looks awfully dark and prominent for a split part issue... hmm this pic shows an 'ok' (but still ugly) seam line on the right arm, and the left upperarm seam line looks like its splitting already. hope i'm wrong... since this might be an early prototype. but then Stick is supposed to hit the stores now... >.<
promethuem5 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 If it is a fit issue, it at least looks like something that will be incredibly easy to fix... just finish splitting the part apart, slightly sand down whatever doesn't quite fit right, and glue back together.
Arthurius Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 yea, for sure, this wont stop me from getting them, as it can be fixed.
Vermillion21 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Blowsperior .... AWESOME. I am soooo glad I pre-ordered the MH cyclones over the CMs .....
Scream Man Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 So ok, we know its soon and it looks good. 2 questions: 1) How much? 2) Visors can be raised? all in all though Im pretty impressed with them. Ill get Scott, pass on Rad and get Yellow i think.
Vermillion21 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 LAF toys has Stick & Rey for pre-order for $57. Suppose to be in stock at the end of the month, but then I've heard possible delay in this thread. And yes, I believe the visors can be raised ....
Arthurius Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 I would guess visor cant be raised, as there is a different head, for for figure, one with helm.
Renato Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Amazon Japan has the first two listed as out on March 2nd. No info on the Yellow. As much as I want that figure of Yellow, I hate Megahouse for pulling that whole "Limited Stickers" thing. Plus, I have a couple of their Palm Action toys and the QC is more hit-and-miss than with Yamato's stuff. Luckily no pre-orders are yet available for the Yellow, but I'm gonna have to think hard about this.... ...Ah, what the hell, it will be mine, who the hell am I kidding.
EXO Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Just went thru the whole thread... there's absolutely no pic of the visors up at all... I find that kinda weird.
jenius Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 It would seem Arthurius might be right. If you watch the video the head gets man-handled and the helmet visor never budges. Maybe they skipped the visor function all together since the heads swap.
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Limited edition "visors that lift" versions will probably be made.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 On their site (M/House) there was a very small pic with a slightly opened visor (with the hand of the rider placed as if it was lifting it) i need to find the pic.

That'd be good news, I'd really like to see the feature. I like the look a lot but it's a shame it appears to have so many decals instead of tampo printing and relies so heavily on impfect transformation. A non-moving visor would be one more let down to heap onto the list.
EXO Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 On their site (M/House) there was a very small pic with a slightly opened visor (with the hand of the rider placed as if it was lifting it) i need to find the pic. I saw that pic... it's one with both in the plastic tray, but it's so small I can't tell if they're both facing up or if it's lifted. I have a feeling it can be lifted though, the prototype shows the face behind the clear visor. Maybe they didn't have the faces sculpted. At first the visors weren't even see thru and it seems like such an easy mechanism to design.
drifand Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 I wonder if MH's Stick and Ley get 'Big Wheel' envy from looking at Yellow's ride?
Shun Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 really no idea. the small pic u guys speak of is here (bottom of page): http://www.megahobby.jp/special/bn/scoop/024/index.html Magazine pics show some gap on the helmet, suggesting that visor can be lifted: However, official pics show no gap (might be prototype?) hope that visor can be lifted...

1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 it's like the 1 millionth time someone says that
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) lol Scream Man!!! Thanks Shun. Can't remember if i seen that pic of the Rider leaning forward on the bike, thats great! I was wondering if they could do a high speed lean forward... bet i can get him lower. Edited February 25, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie
Tober Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 (edited) What video? http://www.megahobby.jp/special/scoop2.html I think I can see a bit of flesh color under the helmet visor in the packaged shots. Hopefully the visor can be lifted. Edited February 25, 2008 by Tober
nhyone Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 The campfire diorama is nice, but I'll rather have Ray and Yellow in civilian clothing than the ride armour. Stick is often in his ride armour, but not the others. Waiting for the next generation figures that allow the ride armour to be taken off...
eyesonme78 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Now. it's almost end of febuary, i have one gd question to ask, is MH coming out in Feb/Mar, looking on HLJ, it's staing Feb, but based on the rumours and such, it's stating MAr period.. hmmmmm if that's the case then i have to go akiharbara to get those MH stuff already..
