GreatMoose Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I'm starting a 1/48 custom, and I need some help as I can't seem to make up my mind. On the one hand, I'd like to make an overall light grey low-vis valk similar to the "High-Angels" or "Thunder Hammers" scheme. On the other hand, have visions of an all over black valk, probably with markings similar to "Vandy-One". Any input on what you guys would tlike to see? Quote
bigkid24 Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I'd rather see something like the Thunder Hammers. A black valk sounds cool but I think for it to really look good there would have to be a lot of highlights and details on it to make it interesting for me. Quote
GreatMoose Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 Yeah, I was going to deck it out in black with grey and white highlights and markings. Maybe a little yellow here and there, it'd look kind of like that ClubM blue roses valk, except I was going to use the "Playboy Bunny" emblems on the tail and heatshield. Quote
Toonz Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 i love black valks! just like the bluerose type. and let your bunny wear RED and give a very seductive pose. B) Quote
Draykov Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I'd like to see something that hasn't been done. Everyone has low-vis fever. Tiger Meet anyone? Low-vis...WITH COLOR? Quote
Lightning Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Low-vis...WITH COLOR? that looks like the Super Hornet...(the plane, not the scheme) Quote
Draykov Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 (edited) Already been done, man. Cool. But I'd rather see it on a Yamato 1/48. that looks like the Super Hornet...(the plane, not the scheme) It's a pair of Canadian CF-18 Hornets...as far as I now Canada has yet to purchase any of the E/F variant (aka the Super Hornet).
