Priss! Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Guys, i was looking at yamatos's website and I found this Beauty Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 What a great scheme!!!! It's not what I expected the CF to be but I sure like it Quote
Lonewolf Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Humm... I thought it would be of a darker tone... Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) Looks like the VF-1 Cannon Fodder scheme. Not very impressive IMO. Now, I don't have the official colored lineart around but I do remember it to be very different. Edited November 8, 2007 by Lonely Soldier Boy Quote
Chowser Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 wow, it didn't take them long to milk the mold Quote
ghostryder Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Not crazy about that 1/48 VF-1 fleshy CF color. Shouldn't it be more dark desert sandy/bronze? Quote
Knightdramon Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Cool enough, but the mould isn't strong enough to justify a third purchase from me. I do like the colours though. Quote
eugimon Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 ew... nudie sv-51 does not look good at all. Quote
Dante74 Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Thank god, I don't like it. That way I'll save myself some money for once. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 ew... nudie sv-51 does not look good at all. Somebody put some pants on that Valk! Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 It's probably Kawamori's retcon interpretation Gerwalk... Quote
David Hingtgen Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Yeah, it looked distinctly bronze/gold to me in the animation---not plain "tan". Quote
eugimon Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Somebody put some pants on that Valk! Thank GOD the Vf-1 CF didn't get the nudie color, I would have been too embarrassed to pose it in battroid mode... Quote
Mr March Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Looks a little different than the color shceme I used for the M3. The manipulators and "ankles" are light instead of black. I might have to correct that. Quote
Twoducks Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I kinda like it (I'm regret selling my 1/48 CF ) but would prefer the scheme Mr March has posted. A little white here and there would be nice. And again we have nonblack joints like in the Nora... I'm worried now that we might not get that fixed for Nora. Quote
Grand Admiral Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I kinda like it but I'm holding out for a Dobber SV-51. Quote
Jeremy007 Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 im glad im not the only one who doesnt like it. Quote
Zinjo Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 wow, it didn't take them long to milk the mold Wouldn't you? That mold probably cost them tens of thousands of dollars to produce... Plug in some new styrene colored pellets and bingo a new SV-51 version... Quote
eugimon Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I would have preferred Mr. March's take as well. As it is, this is a sure pass for me. I'll wait for the Dobber scheme. Quote
Sumdumgai Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Only SV-51 I'll get is a Dobber's scheme. This CF is far too light brown. It looks like it's trying to pass itself as a YF-19 in color. Quote
Nani?! Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 WOW! That looks magnificently retarded. They use the same crappy nudist default tan color for all their cfs and the knees, ankles, face, hands, etc are all still not colored black. Seriously they need to crucify the guy who decides the colors at yamato. Quote
Ghostkiller Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 This sheme is pretty bad CF VF-1 rocks but that s--ks thinking a lot about a possible repaint of my 2nd Sv-51 with a russian camo Was thinking about a complete unsrewing process on it At first thought It was not possible but it looks like it is possible now after playing with it a lot But I am not confident enough at the moment possible sheme that would be fantastic IMO Quote
charger69 Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) Looks like a flying M1A1 to me (Not a bad scheme IMO) I'm afraid I will end up with 4 SV-51's (Ivanov, Nora, CF, Dobber) Edited November 8, 2007 by charger69 Quote
konimon Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) I was hoping for grey low-vis or Dobber scheme. So far, Ivanov scheme is my favourite. So this one is SV-51 alpha? I see the starboard gun though... Edited November 8, 2007 by konimon Quote
big F Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Im not a fan of this colour scheme. But surely the CF colur scheme is a U.N Spacy thing and not the Anti U.N`s idea. Quote
TheLoneWolf Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 If it was more bronze than tan it'd look a lot better. Was this color also hand-picked by Kawamori? Either way I'll definitely pass on this one. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 this is bulls^t, SO DAMN SICK OF THIS NON-CANON AND TRYING TO MAKE OUT CANON CRAP! I had hopes for the CF-51, but they can shove this... I bet they don't include the Fuel bomb. Quote
Dobber Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 This sheme is pretty bad CF VF-1 rocks but that s--ks thinking a lot about a possible repaint of my 2nd Sv-51 with a russian camo Was thinking about a complete unsrewing process on it At first thought It was not possible but it looks like it is possible now after playing with it a lot But I am not confident enough at the moment possible sheme that would be fantastic IMO Ghostkiller, that's what I thought so I painted my hasegawa that way. This is the one (Dobber) that everyone is refering to if you didn't know. I also have been thinking about painting my Yamoto like my Hasegawa but I only have 1 and really can't afford another one yet either. I really hope Yamato comes through and makes my SV-51 so I can just buy one instead of risking screwing up a very expensive toy!! Chris Quote
Jeremy007 Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 i cannot get over how good that paint job looks on that toy. fantastic. Quote
Fai Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 It's probably Kawamori's retcon interpretation Gerwalk... It looks like a hairless chicken or something to me, Quote
Nani?! Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 It looks like a hairless chicken or something to me, ROFL! Nice description. Quote
do not disturb Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 so uninteresting and so unoriginal, my left nut has more flavor... i've lost a great deal of interest in macross toys lately. the only thing that would get me excited at this point would be destroids or a legitmate sized SDF-1. Quote
do not disturb Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Or a VF-25. :P :P :P :P if they released just one version, then yes. repaints is whats killing this hobby for me. repaints of a timeless valk like the VF-1 is cool but these others(mac+/0 valks)don't deserve a repaint IMO. Quote
