Wicked Ace Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Sale or no sale, I hate the sculpts on these. Quote
Fly4victory Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Those are great little aircraft but the VF-19A wings need to be more forward. Have each one of them. Quote
sqidd Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Those are great little aircraft but the VF-19A wings need to be more forward. Have each one of them. They go a lot further forward than in the pic though. I have all of these two, most doubles. I think they are great. Quote
vermillion01 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) I actually just ordered 5 from here http://www.ibuyxyz.com/ Still have to get the YF-19 though... looks like there has been big resurgence of these four models... Edited October 24, 2007 by vermillion01 Quote

Not really. Sellers are probably just blowing out their old stock, since the most popular one has always been the YF-19. There are the plastic "F Toys" versions out now, which are cheaper and essentially "look" the same, with more versions of the VF-1. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) I've got 2 YF-21's and they are awesome litle models. My normal YF-19 OVA colour is also nice. The VF-1S is a great little sculpt too, they are precious just for the fact they are diecast. The new 1/144 line is alot nicer and more detailed, but is missing the diecast character. Fly4victory Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 While the plastics are cheaper have to disagree that they are better. I prefer the little die-cast aircraft. I have all but Hikaru's VF-1J and have displayed them with the new plactic 1/144, two Bandai VF-11 and VF-17 and a very old Imai. Would not mind seeing a 1/144 VF-0 and SV-51. Quote
jenius Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I have all but Hikaru's VF-1J Hikaru's VF-1J was never actually produced... they did some ads but never actually sold him. Quote
Dante74 Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Shouldn't this be in the "Where to buy" section? Quote
Fly4victory Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Thanks that is good?? news. Only good in that I thought I was failing in my searching techniques. Sad that Max and Miria were the only VF-1J's made then. Hikaru's VF-1J was never actually produced... they did some ads but never actually sold him. Quote
