Black Valkyrie Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Did any of you thought or wished for VF Grade series (HG, MG and PG) like Gundam, if it was real, how would the market will react to it and what would you think of it? [well there`s a Dunbine MG] For me IMO it would out sell the other Macross mechandise. Quote
Eternal_D Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 I would probably buy the PG version...all other craps...no thanks unless it's something spectacular in MG form. and I'd keep all my Macross stuff...no sense in selling 2 completely different things. Quote
tetsujin Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 The grading system is a Bandai thing. Bandai kits are great and all but in terms of detail and representation they have nothing on Hasegawa. I would put Hasegawa's Macross kits against anything Bandai has to offer anytime. Even "Perfect Grade", as impressive as it is, places a much higher premium on toy-features like posability than it does on simple detail quality. It's possible that it would sell better than Hasegawa's stuff if it happened, but it's not something I'm especially hoping for. I'd much rather see Hasegawa keep up their fine work. They make better models than Bandai does. Quote
cobywan Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Hasegawa did a great line of transforming models back in the mid eighties. The Operation Omega line. They could totally pull off a "PG" Valkyrie kit if they wanted to. But I figure they won't. Quote
