I haven't heard anything yet about Macross II receiving such a release. However, the main reason I'm responding is because I really wish people would stop using the misnomer "remastered HD" because it spreads false information (and expectations). A standard definition DVD mastered from an HD source is NOT the same thing as a High Definition release. Of course, I think some blame falls to companies for marketing products like these Macross re-releases as "HD remasters," so people need to learn the difference.

Thank you and you are right, actually I know the difference between a DH DVD release and this HD remastered DVD release that are really regular DVD release, but many people thinks that this release are really HD DVD and that is wrong...

It's possible, since BigWest makes no distinction between Studio Nue continuity and non-Nue continuity, they own them all as far as they are concerned.

The Macross II special edition DVDs still sell on Yahoo Japan, so there is a market that will purchase them in Japan. Since it seems all the Macross properties are getting remastered, it may only be a matter of time.
