rewooh Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 the writing on the box is japanese. I would know if it was korean or not. <~~ korean Quote
Eternal_D Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 it's got japanese writing so I'm assuming is japanese. they had korean released takara RID. I remember BBTS was offering them up and it they said they're original...just released for Korea. Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 yup, that's the real deal alright. A korean company bought the rights to reissue the RID line in korean language boxes. That's the only other version that I know of. No bootlegs were made of these. Unless you want to refer the korean version as a bootleg. Quote
mpchi Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Its real Japanese release. I actually have that very same box. Quote
Otaru Ikari Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Real deal, though with Korean packaging. Quote
rewooh Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 isn't that worth something? or no. I swear i've seen those at hobby shops for like 100 bucks. Quote
Solscud007 Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 From what I understand Takara has mfg plants in Korea. Liek my Gaogaigar toys. They are identical to my takara japanese toys. Think of it as Matchbox and Bandai back inthe dayof robotech. same toy different box. but comes from the same place. Quote
Savannahtron Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Um yeah, and the Korean version is a lot less expensive than the Japanese version. Quote
