Kyp Durron Posted September 25, 2007 Author Posted September 25, 2007 To be honest, I'm surprised no one has posted something like this sooner. -Kyp Quote
Dante74 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Is that the Soul of Popynica Yamato? I want one of those, but I think it won't fit into a Detolf which means I'll have to pass.... Quote

I want one of those, but I think it won't fit into a Detolf which means I'll have to pass.... Sadly...no. It was made by Taito and sold only in Japan. I found it on Ebay through a US seller. It's not entirely accurate to the line art, the Bandai version that you mention is much, much more accurate. I will get one one of these days, but for now, this one is nice enough. The cool thing is, that it's paint job has weathering on it which is a nice touch. -Kyp Quote
Mowe Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 This was a Yamato riding Yamato posted in one of the older thread. That was the Bandai version..he..he.. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...0464&st=540 Quote

A bit off topic in this important thread, but Dante, are Detolfs completely dust proof? I need a display cabinet for my stuff soon... Oh well, to stay on topic, this is pretty cool: Quote

Dante74 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 A bit off topic in this important thread, but Dante, are Detolfs completely dust proof? I need a display cabinet for my stuff soon... Oh well, to stay on topic, this is pretty cool: I've had toys in mine for more than two years now and I only had to dust everything off once. Dust is more noticeable on the glass shelves and doors though, so I clean them every couple of months. Nothing is completely dust proof so the Detolfs are good enough for me. Quote
Dangard Ace Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 No display case is dustproof unless they're hermetically sealed. That said I'm pretty sure the Yamato should fit into the Detolf. 1/48's fit in fine with space to spare so the Yamato being only slightly longer should fit fine as well. Quote
