I'm surprised that Gundamit/ShowZ has this with free shipping (at least to the US). While they have free shipping on most items they won't usually do that on something this large. That's a pretty massive savings for anyone considering this.

The USAGS has it for the cheapest I've seen so far at $480, get a discount code or two and it would be cheaper.

Over the weekend had a pretty good discount on it, I think it was 20 percent off, but i think that sale ended. They often have more sales going on around these holidays and it might be good for some to wait on those, but it was still out of my price range and I lack the space

If you get it off of a Chinese site you're going to have to pay upfront but BBTS says June 25.  $140 non-refundable down payment though.

Thought I'd throw up some stuff I had fun with recently.
An Adepta Sororitas Anchorite, modified using one of the Joytoy penitent engines:

The Khorne berserkers look too bright and clean out of the box so I started doing something about that.
Started with the zerker with the icon. Others are there for comparison.  It's my first time attempting blood effects. Had a lot of fun with this.

Since I've recently cleared my workbench , i decided to finish up and flesh out a little more warhammer 40k before going on to some more dedicated Deculture. These are my latest Tau Shas 'Vre conversions. Roughed out. Ready for a light sanding and some primer. Part of my updated Farsight attack squad

Yup.

 

Probably focused on the Deathwatch given the terminator with the Deathwatch symbol on it.

The quality of the animation of the teaser is still top notch though. Just wish it wasn't a year or so away.

While render quality was good I don't feel like any of it resembled the original film.  There was too much excessive movement in the characters.  In Astartes everything was cold, calculated and efficient when it came to the Space Marines and their movement.

I just noticed there's no more Forgeworld , it's apparently been rolled up into the GW website. And now all those cool forgeworld designs are out of production (!)?

Yeah, happened around a year and a half ago I think, and they just simply stopped making a bunch of stuff/got rid of older units.
