Dante74 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Hey everyone, I've got a bit of a problem. See this pic? Just look at that pose, sexy aint it? I'm trying to accomplish this pose with my VF-0S but I can't seem to get it right. I can't get the nose down further than in the pic below. I suspect that the problem is with the joints just behind the intakes. I can't get it to go forward any further without breaking the leg off. In the promotional pic it looks like it's almost perpendicular to the intake, but mine won't go any futher than about 120 degrees. Thanks in advance! Quote
ghostryder Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 There are 2 ratchet joints behind the intake - should be able to bend that leg much more! Quote
PsYcHoDyNaMiX Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Go back to the instructions. I think you skipped a step. Right above the knee in the lower tigh section that section pivots out. I think that maybe your problem. Unless you can include an additional pic of the leg itself. Its a bit hard to tell from the angle of your shot. Quote
eugimon Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) are you fully extending the knee joints? the vf-0 knee joints pull out far enough to make a 90 degree angle with the thigh. here's a picture of the leg with all joints fully extended: Edited August 7, 2007 by eugimon Quote
jenius Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I'm pretty sure Eugimon has this one figured out... coming from a VF-1 familiarity those knees are a bit unexpected. Quote
Dante74 Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 I made some pics but you beat me to it eugimon. As you can see in the pic, I didn't have the kneejoint rotated all the way out. It looks a lot better now. Thanks guys! Quote
roboferret Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Out of curiosity, what is the clear plastic mount you are using in the picture? Quote
