mister_e Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 The 1/72 has a lot of faults that will most likely (crosses fingers) be fixed in the upcoming 1/60 version. I say wait for the 1/60 Quote
sqidd Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 Sounds to me like you both have the same answer Quote
eugimon Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 no no! my answer was that.. uhm.. the 1/72 was a perfect toy.. and you shouldn't wait.. you should own one of each... Quote
Ryoma Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) Well if you wanna wait be prepared for a loooong wait, over a year I would say....I would personally go with the 1/72 with Fast pack...that`s better than the one without. In my opinion the VF-11 is also the best yamato in the 1/72 scale. Uhm...just realized you guys are talking about the VF-21 that I guess it is the YF-21... Edited August 7, 2007 by Ryoma Quote
Busted VF1A Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Wait for the 1/60, it only about 6 months away and will look a heck of a lot better than the 1/72 version. But if you cant wait, go for the 1/72 Fast pack version, At least you'll get the gun pods and the corrected hips in that version. Quote
jenius Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) the FP version is floppier than the non FP version but has a sleeker profile. The FP version is also harder to transform properly. Of course, the FP version does have the guns. The original has a deep blue color as opposed to the FP's purple. Uh, wait for the 1/60. Edited August 7, 2007 by jenius Quote
Scream Man Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 If u can get the YF-21 FP cheap, then go for it. Shes a nice looking bird in fighter. The onlt hassle is transforming is a batty. Fitting the legs into the leg space i found to be horrendously difficult, and so rarely tansformed the plane. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 ... buy the Hasegawa YF-21 to have in fighter mode... and that will tide you over till the 1/60 version next year. Quote
do not disturb Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 i'll have an answer for you once i figure out what a VF-21 is. Quote
