Mecha Man Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Can you buy strike parts in different colours? I have only ever seen the blue versions for sale. I have ordered the 1/48 stealth type without the super strike armor and I want to know if you can purchase the black parts seperately. Sorry if this is a dead issue. I searched around for a while on the forum but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Quote

BoBe-Patt Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 the only other color variants that you can't buy seperate are the TV 1/48 1J Super valks. The hikaru, green fast packs, max, blue and grey fast packs, and miriya, red and grey fast packs. If your lucky enough, someone on ebay or even here might sell those fast packs alone. Quote

cube Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 is the grey on the max and miria packs different than the normal super/strike parts that are sold separately? Quote
jenius Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Yes, the TV valks are a slightly different hue. There are comparison pics up on my website (anymoon.com), just look for the Yamato 1/48 Super VF-1J review. If it's not in that review it's in 1/48 Super/Strike Parts Review. Quote
eugimon Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 They're not just a different color, the FAST pack that comes with the 1j bundles have the TV series style forearm armor as well. Quote

ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Don't forget the uber special 1/48 Clear Parts for the Fast Packs. (Missile housing and leg clear parts) I have been waiting to do up my custom valk before i display the clear parts. Edited July 24, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
jenius Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 If I may be so bold... if you're not familiar with 1/48 Fast Packs then you should definitely CLICK HERE. That will take you to a plethora of Fast Pack pictures... Not my best work, I'll have to clean it up some time, but certainly good enough for these purposes. Examples: That's the difference between DYRL and TV colors (slightly different hue) That's the difference between DYRL and TV arm armors. Quote
