mojacko Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 wow....amazing!!! my question is....How did he do such a thing??? Quote
eugimon Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 HOLY CRAP. That's amazing. the articulated hands, the little posable Roy, the near perfect anime accurate leg swing bars. I wonder how long it took him to do all that. Quote
PsYcHoDyNaMiX Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 WOWWY!!!!! IT'S NIICE~!!! (/borat). Woah... that goes to show you can either spend your time working to save up for a yamato VF-0S or you can go make your own out of a couple of hasegawa kits! lololol. Quote
Fly4victory Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 That is an amazing work of love. Wonder if it is straight fighter or were some battroid parts used? Quote
Lonewolf Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Holy smokes it must have taken the guy forever to build that beast. Excellent display of skills. Quote
MechTech Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 That's what I'm talkin' about! He's got some skills alright!!! AWESOME work and it doesn't look like a toy! He can do that stuff because he's a member of the Hong Kong Modelling League. It's like the Justice League, only with styrene powers . If you want to articulate your figures or hands like that, cut joints into the part, drill holes through them and glue wire into it. It's like the old Gumby toys. It works as long as you don't do 90 degree bends. High angles stress and crack the wire. - MT Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 holy poo!! I'm shocked and amazed...that's truly a work of wonders Quote
captain america Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Now THAT is dedication! Notice that the battroid mode looks pretty good too Must be fragile as all hell though, it's very easy to scratch the paint when transforming a model like that. He deserves a medal just for having the guts to transform it. That dude in the other thread claiming to have the "best" model on MW with his YF-19/21 dio has a lot to live up to Quote

That dude in the other thread claiming to have the "best" model on MW with his YF-19/21 dio has a lot to live up to I'd have to disagree, battroid looks pretty wonky. the head protrudes akwardly and the chest has a very severe angle to it. And with the wing lengths optimized for fighter, they hang down awfully low in battroid. I still think it looks amazing, and it's pretty ingenious, I'm just not keen on the battroid mode. Quote
Guest sh002 Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 this needs to be released as a toy for my 1/72 collection Quote
