ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 (edited) Snuck under the radar for mine. http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00038 limited run... pfft! The best canon scheme valk after the TV 1J's imo. It's beautiful. I'd go far as to say it IS the best looking canon sheme Valk ahead of the DYRL? and other TV scheme Valks. Too bad i don't need more than one. Edited July 9, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote

I thought Yamato wasn't going to do anymore reissues or repaints after the M&M 1Js? Well at least it's good to hear the VF-1 molds are still being put to good use. Quote
kensei Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 It's business really. As long as there is demand why not cash in on it? Quote
jenius Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Since it's back in stock, instead of a preorder, isn't it possible that HLJ just found a few boxes of these or maybe picked some up for ridiculously cheap off some vendor that just wanted to clear inventory? Quote
Dante74 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Well, their website did say they were doing a full check of their inventory last week, so maybe they did find some more. Quote
kensei Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Well, their website did say they were doing a full check of their inventory last week, so maybe they did find some more. Doubt it. Green status means they got a fair amount, I'd doubt anyone is stupid enough to misplace > a few cases of something as prominent as a 1/48. Quote
jipe Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Well, their website did say they were doing a full check of their inventory last week, so maybe they did find some more. Why not ? There are also some CM'S part 2 figures at new.... Quote
ghostryder Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 If they were going to actually reissue this, I'd be all over a version with a more tan color like the TRU 1/60 (less fleshy), and a PROPER TV -1A head. Or how about Hikaru's training -1J cannon fodder ?? Quote
kensei Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 I don't think that they will change the head shape anytime soon, judging from the release of the Angelbirds... Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 10, 2007 Author Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) I just hope they concentrate on a decent 25th anniversary colour scheme... i want another 1/48. Edited July 10, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 CF is good to have in groups. They make the other valks stand out because they are so plain. Would be cool if they did a set of CF FAST packs colored brown in the style of the max and milia tv FP. Quote
kensei Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Are there such a thing? I thought that was a robotech thing. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 DYRL? had a poor Super/Strike FP'd VF-1A CF getting pasted outside the SDF's lovers viewing area... Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 Well... lol, it's discontinued again. Guess they found some extra boxes laying around afterall didn't they? How many here put an order in or were thinking about grabbing one up? Quote

Knightdramon Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Not really one of my favourite valkyries, and I'm looking forward to completing the DYRL team rather than a TV version team. Extra points about the fixed pose hands, though. Quote
do not disturb Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 theres no such thing as too many CF's. Quote
