David Hingtgen Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 More like female and male human powermasters, who powered a large combiner Decepticon. Overlord is male despite his powermasters, much like Arcee is female, despite (sometimes) having a male headmaster. Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Overlord is male despite his powermasters kind of like how David is technically male despite a female like affinity for color obsession & always having to be right Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Yeah, but I admit when I'm wrong. (just had to do it today on another board) Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 whoa! I didn't know that, that's awesome! Has he changed his C.V. to read "Professional Voice Actor" yet? Quote
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 OMG Blurr I know. It's going to be hard to explain that one to my son after I JUST bought him the Blurr figure today (he hasn't seen the season 3 vids that were linked yet) Quote

It's going to be hard to explain that one to my son after I JUST bought him the Blurr figure today (he hasn't seen the season 3 vids that were linked yet) Just tell him that he's a triple changer and his 3rd form is an Energon Cube Quote
RavenHawk Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I know. It's going to be hard to explain that one to my son after I JUST bought him the Blurr figure today (he hasn't seen the season 3 vids that were linked yet) My son (10) was telling me and his older brother (14) about how cool Blurr is and how much cooler he is than the one from the movie (the original), just as I was about to play the youtube video for him... Morpheus Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Blurr is cool, who else could RUN from the other side of the galaxy back to Cybertron . So are we going to see Metroplex vs hijacked Omega Supreme this season? Quote
RD Blade Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Not sure if that showdown would work. Omega may be big, but there's still a huge size difference. Quote
Hoptimus Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Yes! Season 3 kicks off with a bang! I cant wait to see the rest but I am still bummed that its the last one. Quote
kanedaestes Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 It is sad as this has been the best series in a decade. I wonder why they plan on canceling such a great show? Quote
RD Blade Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Maybe it's a hoax to boost interest in the show. If only, right? Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 (edited) Transformers Animated Art Director/Lead Character Designer Derrick J. Wyatt posted on his blog A Delightful Tedium that Blurr may or may not have expired after he was crushed into a cube during "Transwarped." I tried to give Blurr a way out by putting his still beating spark into the compacted cube design. Though it wasn't visible in the final animation of the cube, let's assume it's in there. So at the point Longarm Prime hands it off to CJ, Blurr is probably in severe stasis, but he is still alive. So now the real question is, after Cliff tossed the trash down the chute, was the incinerator on? Or did the oh so compacted Blurr land harmlessly on to a pile of refuse? Phyrox Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 It is sad as this has been the best series in a decade. I wonder why they plan on canceling such a great show? maybe it's a case of them only needing three seasons to tell the story they want to tell? I mean, of course it's really just a vehicle to sell toys in the end...but is it possible that they never intended it to run and run until all the ideas were stale? Maybe they want to go out on top...? Quote

Maybe they want to go out on top...? Unfortunately, I don't think this is a case of them having told the story they wanted to tell. I seem to recall a recent interview, from when the rumors of cancellation first started, where one of the writers was saying that he had to wrap up his story ideas this season, and not lay the groundwork for the season 4 ones that he had wanted to do. Maybe they want to go out on top...? They originally intended at least a 4th season. Supposedly after the decision was made to end the series parts of season 3 had to be changed because they were tie-ins to a further season. I hope it isn't gone for good, as Animated ended up being the only Transformers show I actually enjoy watching and has some of the best toys ever made. ::EDIT:: Beaten by RavenHawk! *shakes fists* Edited March 18, 2009 by eriku Quote
holytoledo69 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Trans-warped episode rocked!! It would of been justifiable to make toys of Omega Supreme and all those new transformers.. if they they haven't planned on canceling the show.. so sad...so sad. Quote
eriku Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 We've got to get an Animated Omega Supreme figure is some way, shape or form. It's just too awesome and too craved by fans to not happen at some point. Quote

Alpha OTS Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 AAAH! Ratchet and a Blazing Saddles reference! "Key!? We don't need no steenkeen key!" Quote
Zx31 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I hope the Autobots we saw defending the space bridge all get repaired and are given more screen time. It would be a shame for Rodimus to be lost forever due to cosmic rust. Quote
Alex Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Just posted this in the TF thread but for those of you with Animated Blurr, I see in one of the hobby shops over here that you can mod him to give him double jointed knees. It looked like the guy unscrewed the one screw on the black part on the knee and shaved a tiny bit off around that area to allow it to move backwards. Definitely going to do this to my Blurr. Made it look reeeally nice in those running poses. The upshot is that you can now pose him in those "damn that was a knackering run" crouching poses or more dynamic running poses too. eriku Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 So was Arcee. And I'm worried that even her release will get the kibosh if the rumors be true. Well, Hasbro has released box art for Arcee so that's one step in the right direction. So far all they've said about Omega is something along the lines of 'We'd like to'. I don't expect Omega anytime soon, but I bet we'll see him in toy for eventually. Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 hahahah, just watched the latest episode Headmaster Unit + Forklift + Allspark fragment = Dirtboss Least I think that's his name, he only said it about a dozen times Nice easter egg with Sludge as the Fossil Fuels mascot Quote
Morpheus Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Is that some Gurren Lagann parody? The boss got drills.... And where is Random Blitzwing when we need one. Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Is that some Gurren Lagann parody? The boss got drills.... And where is Random Blitzwing when we need one. Probably, with a little homage to Bombshell's Cerebro Shells to boot. No Blitzwing, but we got the Starscream clone in Ramjet Colors. So that makes 3 of them accounted for. Quote
kanedaestes Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I am wondering with another constucticon in the mix if that will lead to devastator before the show is over???? Quote
Kurisama Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Heh - good episode, Bulkhead is starting to get really cool now, not just the annoying one that says 'my bad' all the time... I too got a very strong Devastator vibe from those guys - so u reckon we might get to see an animated Devastator? Quote
VF-19 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Is it me, or does this episode seem to be out of place. I mean, what happened to Sari at the end of transwarped???? Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I mean, what happened to Sari at the end of transwarped???? lol, that's true I'm guessing "Grounded"....for life Quote

Dangard Ace Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 That wasn't a bad episode...although Jetstorm and Jetfire being Russian accented was a lil weird. Whoa whoa whoa! Spoilers!!! This hasn't aired anywhere else yet! Some of us don't want to watch crappy Youtube quality! Quote
chowyunskinny Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Youtube offers High Quality on some of their vids now. The links I posted have that option. It's not High Def but it's definitely a step up from the normal Youtube compression Quote
