Grayson72
Hi guys, quick question for ya. Do you thin Dullcoat when you airbrush it or is that not necessary? I never have but I may be doing it wrong. Thanks, Grayson72
Kurt
It all depends on what product you use. Treat it just like you would paint, if it seems to thick than thin it as required. If you are getting good results without thinning, then continue that way. I use Pollyscale matt finish and I have never had to thin it. wm cheng
Good advice Kurt, I use ModelMaster Acryl clear-coats, and I always thin them with the thinner, but not as much as I do with paints. Generally if you can get a skim milk consistency then you're fine.
TER-OR
I prefer PolyScale's dullcoat, and it doesn't need thinning. Toward the end of the jar, I may thin with a bit of water.
Myersjessee
I used model masters as well...and didn't thin at all at first...a little thinning was worthwhile (I figured out later... )
Grayson72
Yeah I just sprayed some Dullcoat Laquer and thinned it this time, it was better I think.
