Of course this is all a matter of opinion and everyone has a different opinion. This is based on what I've seen lately on Ebay and here on Macross World. The new Yamato toys really killed the market for these guys.

Well i wouldn't think is just a matter of opinion...

I think is a direct effect from demand and availability; once the rich guys wanted to get richer and created a surplus of the toys the prices had to come down to sell the reserves.

The price would always be what the manufacture spends on material, labor cost and shipping cost..the rest on prices increase is due to pure greed...or to our advantage, surplus of unsold toys...and their lost for not monopolizing the goods...

$80 for a variable monster?? i remember when they used to cost $200.00

I think is always good to wait longer when there's availability of a toy line; prices are meant to go eventually lower, unless they become a rarity all of the sudden like the 1/48 low visibitily . But this is always a tricky waiting game...

Hey Totoro your prices are about right. I have found some the vf's in 1/60 far lower than that though...

I'd second, or third, at this point Totoro's list. The VB-6 might be closer to $90 and the 1/72 VF-11B might be closer to $60 (smart buyers always opt for the fast pack version).

I have a machine that scans the scans the price of every macross toy... so if you send it to me I'll tell you how much it's worth... ;)

he can get up to 120 for the monster if he plays his cards right...

on ebay they're always going off above 130 due to shipping charges

the Elintseeker and Ostrich can go between 85-100, they're a bit on demands from time to time...don't know about now... I think they're a pair on ebay going for almost 250 togueter!!! damn thieves

The problem with collectibles is that unless an avid collector is bidding on it you may not get it's actual value, nevermind the value we may put on it....

That's the risk of putting it up for sale.

I've seen a CMS-1 Hikaru figure go for both $30.00 & $100.00 on ebay.

The only difference was who was bidding on them.
