konimon Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Like, but says "late february release" that me not like.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 AHHHHHH 1/15! Revy Revoltech can fit! :D :D Can't wait for the Rand and Rook figure. I'll buy those in a snap.
Hiriyu Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Looks pretty ok in armor mode, but that bike... It would be nice if someone did a sculpt that was more heavily biased toward the cycle mode.
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 (edited) My toughts exactly. The bike alone looks meh. And it's a shame, the Cyclone is a beautiful bike on its own. In the lineart the bike looks more agressive and muscular, like a streetbike. Edited October 13, 2007 by Lonely Soldier Boy
jenius Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I think Gakken's 1/8 did a pretty darn impressive job on the bike, I'd love to see someone best it (and it doesn't appear Mega House will be... but Mega House's certainly has many substantial other improvements):
Hiriyu Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I agree with the both of you. It's a nice bike. I also agree that the large Gakken is the best yet.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 So what other releases are coming guys? We got Megahouses, whats Toynazi's like in comparison? Better bike? Whos the best so far?
Chet Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 Can we recap on the known release dates? Toynami: December 2007? Megahouse: February 2008? Beagle: ???? CM's: ???? Aoshima: ???? (same as Toynami, maybe?)
Jeremy007 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 don't know if these pics are new or not, but found them on toysdaily this is the first ive seen of these toys, and they look incredible. I will definatly buy these.
gerwalk25 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Slightly OT but I had to share this while waiting for the Mospeada Ride Armors to come out. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2772796
nightmareB4macross Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Slightly OT but I had to share this while waiting for the Mospeada Ride Armors to come out. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2772796 Nice. Reminds me "Code Monkeys" on G4.
Ladic Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 don't know if these pics are new or not, but found them on toysdaily how much will those retail for?
jenius Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I believe the new MegaHouse Cyclones were in the $50 to $60 range, it was detailed in one of the previous pages (in Yen).
protostar8 Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) Slightly OT but I had to share this while waiting for the Mospeada Ride Armors to come out. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2772796 Very cool. Did you notice the mini alpha, beta, and VF-1's the guy made??? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2361625 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2367736 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2583097 I think this is supposed to be a monster Vb-6 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2585153 Bike Cyclone http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2374007 I may have to use the lego builder to make the alpha and beta and maybe order the parts. By the way, if anyone does manage to build it, can you share the exacts or the lego builder save file? Edited October 19, 2007 by protostar8
promethuem5 Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Agreed... I too would very much like the parts list and instructions for those mini valks and Monster... damn impressive.
Ladic Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I believe the new MegaHouse Cyclones were in the $50 to $60 range, it was detailed in one of the previous pages (in Yen). thanks. When and where can I buy them?
jenius Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Latest word, if I'm not mistaken, is 2/08... and probably everywhere that imports anime toys.
protostar8 Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 (edited) Agreed... I too would very much like the parts list and instructions for those mini valks and Monster... damn impressive. If I could figure out how to contact the make, I'd send him an e-mail or even leave a comment, but I don't see any features that let a person do that. I can figure out the majority of the parts they used, but I don't see them in the colors needed in the Lego Store, so I'm thinking he must have purchased a very specific kit that has all the parts needed inside of it. I almost doubt that some of the parts are Lego parts and not third party look-alike parts. Edited October 20, 2007 by protostar8
Twoducks Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Nice, thanks! Hope they still include the Mint figure.

I almost doubt that some of the parts are Lego parts and not third party look-alike parts. I don't see any clone bricks in these creations. However, I do see parts that were released in older sets that may not be in production now. LEGO doesn't produce every part in every color every year. Each year they have a part palette they work with, and only produce certain bricks in certain colors. They also don't make every piece in every set available online or through LEGO Factory at any given time. If you're interested in getting specific pieces try http://www.bricklink.com/
Fort Max Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 I like the packs on the bikes but man have those figures got tall necks!
Twoducks Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 BTW, is the cyclone of this old pic the Megahose one?
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) BTW, is the cyclone of this old pic the Megahose one? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. It has all the nitpicks that I hoped would disappear by the production version stage, but somehow managed to prevail trough the whole development process, such as the collapsed rear shocks and the ugly front of the bike. I still love the crates and Rand (or whatever his name is) is spot on. Stig looks off but that's overlookable. Not so the price tag. Toynami version was to be around the same price and those were bigger. I still prefer Megawhore's, but I'm not so hyped about them now. Edit: Does anyone knows what happened to Toynami's Cyclones, by the way? Are they still coming out? Edited October 25, 2007 by Lonely Soldier Boy
jenius Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) does anyone know what happened to Toynami at all? Even their Aoshima product has failed to materialize... no Shadow Chronicles stuff, no more 1/100s, and when was the last MPC? Something is afoot... Edited October 25, 2007 by jenius
EXO Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 does anyone know what happened to Toynami at all? Even their Aoshima product has failed to materialize... no Shadow Chronicles stuff, no more 1/100s, and when was the last MPC? Something is afoot... Shocked? Pavlov has nothing on you... lol.
Jeremy007 Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 wow..those new Hobby japan pics are great. february is shaping up to be an expensive but great month for toys.
jenius Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Shocked? Pavlov has nothing on you... lol. I have a conditioned response to questions about Toynami? Is my conditioned response to say "Yep, looks like they fell off the face of the Earth" in question form? Okay...
Fort Max Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Why have we got two topics for essentially the same subject, can we merge and summarise? Beagle - 1/10 Toynami/Aoshima - 1/15 Megahouse - 1/15 CM's Corporation - 1/18 http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-42764-1-1.html Someone else can fill in the rest as I have to be getting off to bed about now.

I now actually think it's the Beagle one: Beagle proto Why have we got two topics for essentially the same subject, can we merge and summarise? Beagle - 1/10 Toynami/Aoshima - 1/15 Megahouse - 1/15 CM's Corporation - 1/18 http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-42764-1-1.html Someone else can fill in the rest as I have to be getting off to bed about now. The last contender shows their stuff. It's going to be a close race between Megahouse and Beagle for my money. If they all turn out good there's also the possibility of having each Mospeada gang member come from a different toy maker
jenius Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 That CMs one looks TERRIBLE... might be really cheap though.
konimon Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 That CMs one looks TERRIBLE... might be really cheap though. I agree. It looks like those toys that come with a piece of chewing gum.
