Twoducks Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Ooooh! Just think of all the possibilities if it sells well... Quote
hirohawa Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Awesome! Hope they do the entire lineup of VFs. Quote
mister_e Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 I do hope that the knee armor is not molded to the upper thigh as one piece, but other than that it looks pretty good. I never picked up the Toynami Super Posables, so these should do quite nicely. Maybe they'll even release some destroids or some other (non-VF-1) battroids. It'd be awesome to see a YF-19 battroid done in this style. Quote
Nostalgia Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 I've been crossing my fingers and hoping that Kaiyodo will step into the Macross franchise. YES!!! Quote
mechaninac Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 While I'm not personally interested in the revoltech VF-1s, I do hope they do well because I'd be the first in line to get Destroids, some non-vf-1 battroids, and Zentradi mecha. Quote
Macross73 Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 hopefully the line will sell well enough that they take that route and build other mecha at this point I looking forward to this. Looks like the knee armor is molded to the thigh , maybe Quote
do not disturb Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 i don't care for yet another version of the VF-1 but i hope they make other macross mecha. Quote
Busted VF1A Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 The Revoltech Line is awesome. Small but increadibly detailed and the best posability of any line. But they tend to styalize alot... Quote
F-ZeroOne Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Theres something odd about that gunpod grip, it looks like it rotates seperately from the trigger...? Quote
Knight26 Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Revoltech Destroids would be awesome, especially in say 1:48 or 1:60 scale... Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 I knew it ! Kaiyado will make Macross action figures, excellent news. Quote
Fred_Scuttle Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 I knew it ! Kaiyado will make Macross action figures, excellent news. REVOLTECH Grand Cannon FTW!!!!!!!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHH - FRED IS HAPPY!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Busted VF1A Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Revoltech Destroids would be awesome, especially in say 1:48 or 1:60 scale... Actually I think the valks are gonna be 1/200 at best in the revoltech line, so if they make destroids I would bet about the same scale. Revoltech is a very small scale line. Quote

Revoltech is a very small scale line. Given what I've seen of the line - 1:100 would fit their shelf boxes. Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 so these are gonna be exactly like the superposable ones then hmm? Quote
mister_e Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Actually I think the valks are gonna be 1/200 at best in the revoltech line, so if they make destroids I would bet about the same scale. Revoltech is a very small scale line. 1/200 would be REALLY small. Aren't Revoltechs usually around 5-6 inches tall? Unless my math is off, that's more like somewhere between 1/72 and 1/100 Quote
mechaninac Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 IIRC the Revoltech line is non scale. They are non-scale, but given their relative size in relation to the destroids, the figures would fall between mister_e's stipulated range... I'd guess closer to 1/72. Quote
promethuem5 Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Right... 1/200 is reaaaal small, like, around the size of the Gashapon figures. Based on the other figures in the line, and some Battroid kits I've got, this'll be between 1/72 and 1/100, probably closer to 1/100 than 1/72 I think Quote
yellowlightman Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Given that aside from Evangelion, the Revoltech line really hasn't attempted to do more than a handful of toys from each series I'd say it's highly doubtful we'd ever get Destroids or anything beyond the VF-1. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 (edited) Y E S ! ! ! ! ! !! YESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU KAIYODO! I got me Mazinkaiser and Eva-02 and i am totally in awe of the posability and yet small scale. I love these. People who haven't experienced the Revoltech system have no idea just how good these are. Edited April 24, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
Los Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Sweet! This Revoltech line is catching more people's attention with every release. Glad to see them give Macross some luv too. Quote
Necron_99 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 so these are gonna be exactly like the superposable ones then hmm? That would be my guess Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) That would be my guess (BoBe-Patt @ Apr 23 2007, 02:51 PM) * so these are gonna be exactly like the superposable ones then hmm? Huh? Do you guys own a Revoltech? Notice the ball joints? Edited April 24, 2007 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
Sumdumgai Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 A valkyrie that does not transform holds no interest for me. I'm happy for you other guys that want one though! Although I must admit, if they did make a VF-11, I'd pick one up just because. Quote
promethuem5 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Toynami Superposables have NOTHING in common with Revoltech figures. SPs are pure PVC with poor joints, shoddy paint, and overdone stylized sculpts... the Revoltech figure is a near perfect representation of the anime Battroid, has more solid PVC and a better paint job, and has Revoltech joints, which are plastic and SUPER awesome articulated. Quote
Mowe Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) That is what we are missing, a cheap Valk with great possability!!!!! Damn, can you imagine how many VF variants they can milk!!!!! But revoltech Destroids are welcome too. Edited April 24, 2007 by Mowe Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Huh? Do you guys own a Revoltech? Notice the ball joints? yeah, I have both the prime and megatron. But they are still sealed on their boxes. Quote
mojacko Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 at long last Revoltech decided to do a Battroid in their series....this would be cool!!! super poseable VF's...hope they make some Zentraedi Pods as well!!! Quote
