Eternal_D Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 saint seiya somebody changed the topic description and added (gay) in there...that's not f'in very nice. I love these figures and I think calling them gay is an insult to my childhood and my taste in toys. I hope none of the mods made this change as they should not abuse their powers like that. please change this and I hope the bastard who did this will not try something like this again. Quote
Hurin Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 A moderator has changed it back. I'm not at liberty to say who made the original change. But I will say that it wasn't me. Quote
Eternal_D Posted March 30, 2007 Author Posted March 30, 2007 ok, hurin, so you know who this person is...do you think this person should use their mod powers this way? I think if you know, you should say who it is and that person should be reprimanded. Quote
Hurin Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 No I don't. But I am not the ultimate arbiter of such things. I'd suggest that everyone look upon this as an ill-fated attempt at humor. We could get all hyped up about this, and scream bloody murder, but in the end, it was just a topic description change (to a somewhat un-PC version). . . and as soon as someone pointed it out, it was changed back. I'd understand a "torches and pitchforks" attitude if it were not changed back, or the complaint was responded to harshly. But as I see it, a staff member attempted to make a little fun of something, and it probably wasn't the best idea, and was remedied. Can we please not make a big deal about this? Quote
EXO Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Wow... I'm surprised I'm not seeing the obligatory "I blame EXO". Quote
Phyrox Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Wait, wait, wait... So we are saying saint seiya isn't gay, right? News to me. All kidding aside, just becuase something is "gay" doesn't mean it's bad. Quote
