GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Take a looksie! http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?AOS09033 Quote
Mechamaniac Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Man, not a very good pic considering the price point.... Quote
GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Author Posted October 13, 2003 (edited) I don't know, it looks pretty impressive to me. Still I agree I would like a better picture. I get the impression this is one of those toys that has so much fine detail no picture can do it justice. I have faith in Aoshima to hand me a fine diecast toy, Edited October 13, 2003 by GobotFool Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Oh man! finally a full diecast metal version! I've been waiting for one like forever now. But that prices tag makes me think twice about buying one.... Quote

Are you a macross fan willing to pass this up for the 1/48 FP 1J, or a terminator fan willing to pass up on the 1J for this? Or worse, are you just a rich bastard and going to get both? Oh heres the normal paint scheme. http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?AOS09032 Edited October 13, 2003 by GobotFool Quote

GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Author Posted October 13, 2003 (edited) don't mistake these large 1/6ths for the smaller 1/12 PVC ones. Edited October 13, 2003 by GobotFool Quote
EXO Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 (edited) You're right... damn I was looking for pics on the web... I'm going to edit my post because I'm taking them off my server... fine, I won't Edited October 13, 2003 by >EXO< Quote
GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Author Posted October 13, 2003 hopefully better pics will be available from HLJ when they give the toy report from the fair. Also since these are being released soon hopefully Aoshima will have some offical pictures. Quote

Is that a question you really need to ask?? Aren't we ALL sick of the VF-1 line?. I for one would shell out the cash for this instead, especially if later pics look good, the eyes light up, and if the stomach hatch opens and stuff, oh, I'm there!. GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Author Posted October 13, 2003 Hey isn't there a company that makes full 1/1 scale endo's? but they cost like 10,000 each Quote
EXO Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 I saw those in San Diego during the Comic Con. I also saw the endoskulls in the Toynami booths. Hehe, those guys will release anything with light up eyes... Quote

GobotFool Posted October 20, 2003 Author Posted October 20, 2003 HLJ has better pics up. Looks nice!!!! http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?AOS09033 http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?AOS09032 Quote
Anubis Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Looks sweet, but Prime and Yammies beats out a $150+shipping endoskeleton. Too much for my blood. Quote
GobotFool Posted October 20, 2003 Author Posted October 20, 2003 The clean one looks too fake, the weathered one is the best. Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 are there pictures of the weathered one? I didn't see it in any of the links. Quote

EXO Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Each version has a different gun. It's neat, gonna have to think about it. Man, $150 a toy these days, my mom said that watching too much TV was bad for me back then, you know you're getting old when you're parents are becoming more right than they even know... Quote
UN Spacy Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 The price is a little steep but I guess with all the die cast content it'll be worth it. But NOT for me.....the first time I saw The Terminator exo skeleton (when I was a little kid) I had nightmares...... Quote

UN, my reaction was compleatly different. it was like "Want!" You know the silly cliche when the little kid is in the mall, the two killer bots are fighting it out and the boy points and says "Mommy I want that". That would be me in regard to the Endo. Oh and exo is an outer shell. Endo is an inner frame. Edited October 21, 2003 by GobotFool Quote
