Customized it out of a set of woodland armor. Thinking of posting it on ebay, but I think I like it too much now. h Quote
do not disturb Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 looks dope! maybe i'll try my hand at a custom GBP one day. Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 damn, that's pretty sweet. The finish on it looks like it came from the factory. Good job! One thing that stands out that I would change if it was mine is the dark red on the chest and the forearms. I'd make that a different shade of grey. But that's just me. Quote
Lonewolf Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Nice repaint. I think the chest plates should have been some shade of grey. Otherwise, great paint job. Quote
Scream Man Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 i agree on the chest, but otherwise it looks awesome. Quote
R_Deckard Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 That is wicked badass. The finish does look very nice. How is it done? Is it painted? Quote
KiriK Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 very clean custom..... better than the urban camo one..... Quote
cube Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 i expected to not like this, but it looks awesome! I think the red on the chest and arms is just the base color showing through the black, isn't it? another shot o paint should fix er up. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I like your UMA on the wall there! ;-) Paint her yourself? Quote
physioguy Posted March 15, 2007 Author Posted March 15, 2007 Nice repaint. I think the chest plates should have been some shade of grey. Otherwise, great paint job. The paint is a semi-gloss black from krylon. The chest plate and forearms is a brown red from the woodland camo. I never painted them, but maybe another shade of grey would be nice. hmm. the urban camo one is actually nice if it could all be darker greys. i think that's my next project. h Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Nice finish! Did you use airbrush? Now all you need is a set of custom Low Vis decals. Yeah, I know, everybody is a critic Quote
Veritas Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Nice, Real Noice! I'm suprised how much it looks like a legitmate release from Yamato. Great work man. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 wow, now that's a good custom paint job, very professional I acutally like the dark red on it, very original, good job!! I wouldn't sell it on ebay until (God forbids) you hit really tough times, or until the GBP armor is discontinuyed and you could sell it for a higher price Quote

I think i need to save money for the SV-51 and of they ever make a yf-21. I still have one more set of urban camo armor to customize h Quote
Veritas Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 I still have one more set of urban camo armor to customize h What's that one slated to become? Quote
big F Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Nice job. I am suprised that Yamato never made an official one as the Stealth just doent look riight in any of the GBP sets. Quote
Sebastian Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Looks nice, I was thinking on doing one myself but with the uban cammo out and all the work I have I lost the courage. nice custom! Quote
Boo Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 (edited) Very nice! I'm not usually a fan of Super/Strike parts or GBP armor, but for some reason the Stealth looks great to me all done up with the extra weaponry and armor. If Yamato were to release something like that officially, I'd have to pick it up. ...after i track down the Super/Strike parts first. Edited March 24, 2007 by Boo Quote
