Capt Hungry Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 (edited) Just found this over at Hobbyfan's forums: Gundam Battle Apparently this was done with 1/144th scale Gundam models. Wow! B) Warning to those with dial up........long load time, but it's worth it. Edited August 23, 2003 by Capt Hungry
Captain of the SDF-1 Macross Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 It was posted in the old Ikonboard message board some time back, but it's good to bring it back here. B) Now, if it can be done with Hagegawa Macross models, Bandai models or Yammies. As for the diorama, it rocks!!!
Batou Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Well, this is the first I've ever seen of it. Cool.
Capt Hungry Posted August 23, 2003 Author Posted August 23, 2003 Hadn't realized that this was old news............. A diorama with valks, destroids and battlepods would be cool.
Yoshi Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 1) It has a lot of GMs 2) The GMs are doing stuff Therefore, it rules
ArchVile Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Only thing that I would have done differently is those GM Ground Types and GM Ground Type Snipers behind the embankment should be closer to the enemy. I'd like to make it seem like a desperate last stand against insane odds.
bob joe mac Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 that was amazing wow! loved that Zaku II matrix thing
GreenGuy42 Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 that was amazing wow! loved that Zaku II matrix thing The Matrix thing is new. I remember the old thread. I never saw that.
Abombz!! Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 And... once again... the Feds are getting their arsses kicked.
bsu legato Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 I've put countless hours into models in the past, often well beyond the point of reason, but I think I would have screamed and given up in frustration after the 5th Zaku.

He probably didn't build them all alone. And after then 200th model... he probably figured out a method of building Zakus faster.
Chuey Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 I love diorammas with tin soldiers, but this rock. I have to wonder how many people and hours it took to build this.
Commander McBride Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 This must have taken one huge team to do. However, the MS parts could have been painted in huge batches, and just assembled, they are all almost identical, after all.
Yohsho Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Its good to see the GM's not getting wooped for once. lol matrix, that's funny. See the little thing about the GM's comforting the Zaku after the Gundam started beating on it.

But it makes me feel so sorry for the poor Zaku.....
