Mods for space sims

Anyone know of any cool mods related to macross for those particular games?

I was just thinking it would be cool if you could fly around in space in a YF-21 in freelancer or shoot zentradi fighter pods down instead of the normal stuff you see in the game.

Not sure if this is the right forum to post it in, but since people happen to hang around here I think it has a better chance to be seen.

There was a Macross mod for Homeworld 2 but i don't know if that was ever completed. The guy doing it posted it on MW as well.

I too recall the Macross DYRL Homeworld Mod. Not sure if it ever was completed.

As for space sims like Freespace, I never saw any Macross conversions.

I do recall someone made VF-1A/J/S jet models and textures for X-Wing:Alliance. Naturally, transformation was impossible. This was released back in 2000-2001 and it looked ok for the time. No custom cockpits though.

Yeah, the team worked for a while on a Homeworld mod, then abandoned it to work on a Homeworld 2 mod. Its like I said, if you don't finish the first one, you won't finish either of them.

IIRC there were some mods for starlancer that allowed you to add to the VF-1
