Warmaker Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 The paint scheme is simple yet nice at the same time. Quote
jenius Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I'd rather have that than any of the other paint schemes I've seen so far. Quote
Lonewolf Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Nice custom, I really like the paint scheme. Quote
Sumdumgai Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Makes me think of the VF-5000 for some reason, or the VF-0D. Nice looking. Quote
valk1j Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Makes me think of the VF-5000 for some reason, or the VF-0D. Nice looking. Makes me think of the Saab Draken. Quote
Graham Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Not official. I have several pics of that from WF, which I'll be putting up soon. It's just a Hasegawa 1/72 kit with custom delta wings. The delta wings are from the same company that sell the metal head lasers every year at WF. I forget the name of the company. Graham Quote
anime52k8 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Makes me think of the Saab Draken. somehow I think the guy who made it was thinking the same thing. Quote
Zinjo Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 (edited) Not official. I have several pics of that from WF, which I'll be putting up soon. It's just a Hasegawa 1/72 kit with custom delta wings. The delta wings are from the same company that sell the metal head lasers every year at WF. I forget the name of the company. Graham Then it's essentially a VF-19MAXL, with a custom paint job... The real question is, where are the boobs on this one? Edited March 4, 2007 by Zinjo Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I would so buy one of those... (a VF-19 with boobs, that is) Quote
Mr March Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I love the Saab 35 Draken. Always thought that stylistically, the thing just looked so damn futuristic. An updated version of the Draken would make a fantastic sci-fi fighter for some movie or series. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I know it's not meant to be but just curioush ow would the delta wings look in battroid I'm not too into it, the whole YF-19 apeal are the FSW, making it into a delta wing makes it look too generic Quote
Zinjo Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I know it's not meant to be but just curioush ow would the delta wings look in battroid I'm not too into it, the whole YF-19 apeal are the FSW, making it into a delta wing makes it look too generic If it's role was that of a dedicated bomber, then it would make sense. The stability of the delta wing coupled with all the advancement made in the VF-19 design would make it a formidable bomber variant. Quote
cowie165 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Either way it looks cool to me! 'nufff said. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Much like the YF-23, the Firefox is such a cool design, that 20 years from now there probably still won't be anything as neat. Quote
Knight26 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Yeah the firefox was just too cool for words, I can see it now a sequel to firefox and stealth where the firefox takes out those horrid Talons. Oh wait they already did that to themselves. Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 the ruskies sure knew how to built nice looking sleek fighters...too bad with the fall of the soviet union all those fighter went to hell and future plans also... no money, no nothing... oh well, it's better than the cold war nuclear threat, haha Quote
