the white drew carey Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 So, I got a Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph pen set for my birthday and I'm having problems: I've followed the instructions to the letter, but cannot get the pen to "start." Does anyone here have any advice, or has used these before? Thanks in advance for any help. Quote

But the way I clean it is with one of those jewelers soak type that uses sonic vibrations to shake the dried ink out into the water. My dad's an architect so he had one. Quote

I don't think it's the disposable type. Ummm... gimme a sec... It's this set here. I'm concerned because it's a brand new set, and there doesn't seem to be much (or any) info on the web about how to deal with this problem. Quote

I'm concerned because it's a brand new set, and there doesn't seem to be much (or any) info on the web about how to deal with this problem. yeah, I think you can take those apart and just get that done... maybe a cheap way to clean it would be to put it in water and buy one of those cheap disposable toothbrushes that vibrate... not sure if that'll do it... they use sonic vibrations also I believe. Metal_Massacre_79 Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 I have that set. You have to shake them a little after you fill them to get the ink flowing. Just remember to shake them away from the drawing area, since you'll get a little splatter. These are VERY nice pens to use. Anyone know where I can find a brush pen with an ink cartridge on it?
