I've read that they are the Zendradi that were condrolled by the Protodevlin, but they existed (in terms of the real-life story production) prior to M7. So, were their history retconned too? I also remember hearing that they were just a separate faction of Protoculture. Anyway, if anyone has some good info, that would be great.
