Rikyu Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Correct me if I wrong, but in the 4th scan, is the SDF-1 (I guess) in some kind of Gearwalk?????? Quote
terry the lone wolf Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Correct me if I wrong, but in the 4th scan, is the SDF-1 (I guess) in some kind of Gearwalk?????? It's prolly a parody but it's still pretty cool. Quote
akim Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) Correct me if I wrong, but in the 4th scan, is the SDF-1 (I guess) in some kind of Gearwalk?????? Yes, it's a gerwalk... First time i saw that. It seems original (same style of design in "This is Animation"). It's prolly a parody but it's still pretty cool. The title of this book is "Haruring World", from "Studio Violet", 88 pages. I really don't know what is it... If someone could translate the index page...(in these pics)... It contains some Mikimoto's illustrations of Macross and Orguss. There is also some stories... Pictures...: [attachmentid=40235] About the 2 first pics ( "macross Special featured volume 0") in the first post, it doesn't seem to be a dojinshi but a real book as "Animex"... (there is a isbn number behind, made by "Art Material")... Well, enjoy.. Edited February 16, 2007 by akim Quote
danth Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Thanks for the pics. I'd love to have a scan of that 5th picture; it rocks. Quote
TheLoneWolf Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Great scans, I haven't seen most of that artwork before! Are the LD's shrinkwrapped or are the plastic bags removable? If the plastic is removable, would it be possible for you to scan the LD's without the obi's? Also, the plastic wrap seems to create a moire pattern on the artwork. Quote
s001 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Wow, where can I get something like that? Quote

Unfortunately, obi is stuck... I'll try later to take a pic... First pic is edited with complement information. Correct me if I wrong, but in the 4th scan, is the SDF-1 (I guess) in some kind of Gearwalk?????? I'll add 3 official postcards later, we'll see on it the same signature seen on SDF gerwalk. (For Zinjo: I've tried to have a better pic of SDF, it doesn't work:(... ) Best regards. Quote

The pictures are around 1800 X 1800 in case you want to make wallpapers with them (hey if you do, let me know as I would like to have them as wallpaper ). regards... Quote

This is really rare art that I've never seen before. waters7, I know where you're coming from, have a similiar scanner/printer all-in-one. If you want, you could scan the LD covers in segments and send them to me and I'll try to assemble them as a single image. Quote
