sketchley Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 something is wrong about the city in the 2nd image - I think it's the perspective and size of the buildings. It implies that the curvature of the Earth is much greater than it really is! Quote

It implies that the curvature of the Earth is much greater than it really is! Yeah, it shows up at the waterline in the distance. You can see a curvature where there really shouldn't be one at that altitude. Quote
scott8539 Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 Yeah, it shows up at the waterline in the distance. You can see a curvature where there really shouldn't be one at that altitude. couple things going on here.used a fisheye lens camera and a sky dome background.+ i dont think the sdf1 is true scale but its close. Mechmaster Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 (edited) That looks really good, makes me want to go back and re-work my own model to take advantage of the much more powerful software and PC I'm now using. I actually started modifying it to be transformable but ended up getting sidetracked by something else, that must have been a year ago at least and I haven't touched it since. I'm just glad to have someone still using that model, I tend to build them and abandon them. Edited January 28, 2007 by Mechmaster Quote

scott8539 Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 here it is transformed.did a lot of tweeking too. Quote
Dante74 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I like it, but the main body could use some more detail. Looks great nonetheless! Quote
Mechmaster Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Yeah, that does look good. Whats missing from the body though is the huge vent or intake thing which isn't visible (or simply doesn't exist) in the cruiser mode. It helps fill that big gap between the armpits and the hips. Quote
scott8539 Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 i changed the arms with parts from the vf1s.looks ok.i've not found anything for the vents yet.will post a new pic soon. Quote
