falcon14141 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Hi, I just wondered if anyone found new intel on the 1/60 Arm Slaves from Atelier Sai. [attachmentid=39714] I can't find a lot info on them and from what I understand they have to be released anytime in March, before the Magezone 23 Garland series. The Garlands are already in Early Bird at HLJ... but no sign of the Arm Slaves The info got out on this thread ( Atelier Sai Arm Slaves ), but I think it should deserve it's toy thread. Quote
Godzilla Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Shouldnt this be in the anime thread? They dont look you can pose them. Quote
Fort Max Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 They are (or will be) poseable, earlier pictures had them all in straight stances. They're expensive though. Quote
Fort Max Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 That info was in the first thread, they're 5250yen each with JPN sales tax included. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 The same company that's making these also made the small trading figures. Those were pretty sweet. Now I wonder if they'll make a jetpack to go with the figs. Quote
kung flu Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 If these figures do come out, how tall would they be in 1/60 scale. Quote
Shmitty Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 If these figures do come out, how tall would they be in 1/60 scale. Not entirely certain, but judging by the prices, I'm guessing they'll probably be about as big as a 1/100 Gundam model- maybe a little smaller or bigger. I don't know the actual height specs for the AS's Quote
Fort Max Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I worked it out once but now I can't remember how big an AS is (around 10m I think), anyway I think these toys will be around 16cm or 6-6.5" Quote

Wikipedia gives the Arbalest at 8.5m http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARX-7_Arbalest In 1/60 scale it should be around 14,2 cm... Quote

ShadowerV2 Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Zip Zero Nadah. And I was so looking forward to these figs too. Quote
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 what?! so they're not coming out at all?! Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Well........ There's been no news so far. And it's been so long. Hopes are fading.... I WANT MY A4-1!!!! (At least I have the trading figure ) Quote
Fort Max Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 There's another wonderfest coming up soon, if AS have anything to show then it'll be there. I doubt it's been cancelled completely, they had quite a elaborate display for it at the last show and a whole line of these planned. Quote
wolfx Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 From wonderfest: http://www.flickr.com/photos/18251255@N00/...57601408814295/ Details to follow Quote

Sam Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 wow that looks schmick all painted up! now if only they can bring out a new series as well hehe Quote
dodgethis Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 So it's being done by Alter, and not Atelier-Sai. Auto-epic. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 As long as it comes out and it's well done! Weeeeeeeee! Now I hope they'll release painted pics of the A4-1. Quote
dodgethis Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 With Alter's track record, quality will be assured. Quote
wolfx Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Is it really by Alter? But if so, this is probably alter's 1s action figure mecha. Sure their PVCs are awesome but remains to be seen. Quote
dodgethis Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 (edited) Well, if you see here http://www.dengekionline.com/data/news/200...583fa4b475.html The Arbalest is in smack in the middle of two Alter figures. And here on famitsu http://www.famitsu.com/anime/news/2007/08/...,76673,0,0.html It's under the Alter section of the page It's just like Max Factory. All they did were PVCs and surprise butt-secks, MaxGohkin Genesic GaoGaiGar. And considering that Alter and Max Factory are under the Goodsmile conglomorate, I think we can pretty much assured of quality. Edited August 14, 2007 by dodgethis Quote
wolfx Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I don't think they are under GSC conglomorate if there's such a thing. AFAIK GSC and MaxFactory has formed a strategic relationship and that's just that. GSC is a new player in the PVC figure market and they have some really talented sculptors on their side that shot them to their position today. And about Alter....don't think they are related to either GSC nor MF. Quote
dodgethis Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 (edited) http://www.goodsmile.info/products/product_index.html Well, they do list their products on the same site. Edited August 14, 2007 by dodgethis Quote
wolfx Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 http://www.goodsmile.info/products/product_index.html Well, they do list their products on the same site. I caught that "O' RLY" . Because its part of the strategic partnership? I don't know the details.....but generally GSC sells stuff for MF on their online store.....and they have collaboration works on figures and even sharing of anime licenses so that both sides can produce figures for the same license. IE: Maxfactory is making the 1/8 Haruhi figures whereas GSC is making the nendoroids. Listing of figures on the same site doesn't mean they are part of a big conglo. They even have newcomer Freeing's extremely huge 1/4 suzumiya haruhi stuff there. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Weeeeeeeeee!! I'm just happy it's getting released. I don't care who makes it! Unless it's toynami.... Quote
Sam Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 lol, u will still buy it, even if it is toynami ;-) Quote
