JELEINEN Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Someone posted a link to this on another board: http://www.force-3.com/ It doesn't look like it ever actually aired, but man mea at 10 years old in 1983 would have loved it. Heck, as cheesey as it looks, I'd probably still like it now. Quote

Heck, as cheesey as it looks, I'd probably still like it now. That show looks so inane I am leaning towards the idea that it was a spoof. I mean...even as TOYS those cars would look too over the top. And those charater descriptions? They belong on the back of a GI Joe box (and that is sort of an insult to GI Joe). I am glad my childhood was not polluted with a cheesier, live-action, MASK show. terry the lone wolf Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I can see myself watching this schlock fest right along with the A Team, Knight Rider, and The Fall Guy. Pure 80's goodness. Nice find by the way but wasn't the cowboy dude in the 90's show Soldier of Fortune Inc.? Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 This reminds me of M.A.S.K (Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand). Only this is live action. Quote
ComicKaze Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Look the 80s gave us a Super Car, a Super Helicopter, and a... yes. Super Rig (a super semi-trailer that fought crime on the highways). I don't see anything odd about this. But it is very M.A.S.K. Quote
wolfx Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Interesting that it didn't air but someone still knew of its existence and made a website for it. And there are actually vehicles and actors. Quote
Knight26 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Definitely looks like the basis for MASK Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Well at least the cars are made by a well known car customizer. Barris Kustoms. Quote
Fort Max Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 and a... yes. Super Rig (a super semi-trailer that fought crime on the highways). What show was that? Quote
wolfx Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 What show was that? The Highwayman. I believe it also carried a helicopter in it. I only remember it was all black but dun remember much about the show. Quote
Skullsixx Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 (edited) That is the cheesiest thing I have ever seen!!! Charlie's Angels meets Knight Rider meets MASK!!! Edited January 19, 2007 by Skullsixx Quote
reddsun1 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 The horror...the horror.... Doesn't surprise me a bit though. Just another of the untold number of TV show pilots that never got picked up by any studios. Who knows just how many treasure troves of cheesiness lie buried in TV studio vaults waiting to be discovered for our masochistic enjoyment.... The 'cowboy' is familiar allright--that's actor Brad Johnson, who's been in a variety of movies/television--mostly of the B-grade variety--shows over the years, most recently as a recurring char on CSI.
