holytoledo69
huh? Cyclones and Alphas (aka Ride Armor and Legioss respectively) ARE Mospeada. Uhmmm read again.. If THAT doesnt include Mospeada (referring that mospeada is not included in the MACROSS mythos).. I'd say it would BE Cyclones or Alphas Did you have your latte' today? Dangard Ace
Bubblegum Crisis is unlikely. Yamato only made a few BGC trading figures. The hardsuit action figures are by Atelier Sai. One of the other Garland designs from Megazone (2 or 3) is still a possibility... And the only other one I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is Madox-01... And I'm not sure that one really transformed. Madox doesn't transform. At most it's a hardsuit.

tom64ss
Yamato is releasing a new line of transformable wallets. You put money in it, and with a few clicks and bends it turns magically into... an empty wallet.

danth
I'd say Mospeada, because if it's not, everyone will be pissed at Graham for getting their hopes up. So if it hadn't been Mospeada, Graham would not have said that.
jenius
I'd say Mospeada, because if it's not, everyone will be pissed at Graham for getting their hopes up. So if it hadn't been Mospeada, Graham would not have said that. Maybe Graham didn't realize how badly some members want better Mospeada toys on this board. He didn't say anything that would make us to certain it was Mospeada like "a transforming 80s anime that featured motorcycles and connect-able fighters." Fort Max
It doesn't look good for Mospeada but that's ok, I'm down with the Motoslave now. Do it Yamato, 1/12 scale with a new Priss figure to fight your Scopedog/Chrico.
Guppy
hmm.. showing my age but... I had one of those watches as a kid! And there was another type which transformed from a chubby fighter jet to watch mode IIRC.
Felix
Hmmm....the real key here is the word "popular" which pretty much leaves out: :Southern Cross(Graham already poo pooed this) :Mospeada :Orguss :Dorvak Also off the table is ANYTHING that Bandai has the rights to: : Gundam (of any kind...) : Dunbine (Yes a couple of those bugs transformed) : Ideon (their SOC version is due later this year) Others to rule out are: : Voltron (he's a combiner not a transformer) : Danougar (same as Voltron and he's Bandai's) My personal pick would have to be Bubblegum Crisis for serveral reasons: : To my knowledge no major player holds the rights. : It was popular and an OVA (see Graham's previous hint) : There is a Yamato precedent, in that they have already made a transforming bike with rider. (Garland) Personally I would love to see a line of Bubblegum Crisis figures similar to the microman scale DMZ Votoms from Takara. How cool would that be... How do we know that Bandai has exclusive rights to any of those shows? It's not like there hasn't been more than one manufacturer for a series before (Macross, f'rex). jenius
I like the weighting on the word "popular." Popular then? Popular now? How do we judge popularity? Popular in the Japan? Popular in Macau? Graham's saying "popular" pretty much just means it's a show we've heard of, I don't think he went and checked the Nelson's before making his remark.
