jardann Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 All I see is the box art for the model. Am I missing something? Quote

jardann Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Heh, I can see them now. I'm on a different PC now, so there must be something up with the one I was using the other day. All I saw before was the first, boxart pic. Now I can also say- "Great job!" That is a very crisp paint job and excellent decal work. It looks just like it should. It looks really cool on the turntable too! Quote
MechTech Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Looks great! I whish I coulda had one for my marriage! (In my case I got "Lisa though"). - MT Quote
Grayson72 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Looks really nice! I have this model and need to build it. Do you think about doing panel lines at all to make all those nice details stand out? Quote
Sdf-1 Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Wow, really clean & beautiful work there! I would prefer panel lines myself too though. Quote
Kyp Durron Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Awesome! Hey, this is something Yamato can do in 1/48- Oh yeah, that's right, they have this aversion to doing any two-seaters in 1/48.... -Kyp Quote
cool8or Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 Thank you Guys for your coments!!! Do you think about doing panel lines at all to make all those nice details stand out? Yes, I want to make the panel lines... I'm just trying to find the best technique!! Quote
Grayson72 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Thank you Guys for your coments!!! Yes, I want to make the panel lines... I'm just trying to find the best technique!! Did you clear coat it with Acrylics? If so the oil wash is the best technique I've found to do it. Quote
cokefiend Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 (edited) Flawless! I wish my paint jobs came out looking that clean. Put a coat of future on it and then a nice oil wash. Or you could follow this tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTokLAJc9Oo eventualy he gets to the panel lines, just wish i understood him. Edited January 24, 2007 by cokefiend Quote
Vi-RS Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Yes, there are 8 pics about my finished model... can't you see it? I know I am digging out this old thread. Great looking kits. I got question, does the special "Just Married" marking officially illustrated on the marking plan or you do it with your own preference? Is there a supporting lineart where to apply those? Quote
cool8or Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 The "married about" decals aren't on the marking plan, I just figured like this. Official decals are very bored, it seems just like the Max version. Quote

You did it good on your kit. Quote
