Hiriyu Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Forgive the newbish question, but which is the more recent Yamato 1/60 leg/hip style - the one with the "square" leg-peg, or the type with the "hex" leg-peg? My CF has the hex, whereas my 1J has the square peg.... Quote
imode Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Forgive the newbish question, but which is the more recent Yamato 1/60 leg/hip style - the one with the "square" leg-peg, or the type with the "hex" leg-peg? My CF has the hex, whereas my 1J has the square peg.... Well, seeing as how the 1J came out after the CF, I'd say square. My 1A Max also has a hex peg while my Max and Miriya and Hikaru supers all have square. Quote
Hiriyu Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 Thanks, that's what I thought... ...But I recalled a review [Grahams?] saying that the redesign allowed for more flexability or posability, while my 1J seems quite a bit stiffer in the legs than my CF. Just curious Quote
ewilen Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Don't know about that, but maybe they redesigned it that way since it's harder for the corners of a square peg to "round off" and slip than the corners of a hexagonal peg. Quote
NSJ23 Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 Yeah, the square leg peg stays on Tighter, But The Hex IMO provide more flexibility as long as they don't slip out. Quote
