Chet Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Anybody know if it is easy to fix the shoulder light on the Yamato Ingram 1? One of mine has never lit up since I bought it brand new. Quote

Valkyrie Hunter D Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 News from Tamashii Nation 2015 says Patlabor has a Robot Damshii line in the works. Talk of Units 1&2 plus a Tyrant are going around, but no pics yet. Quote
arbit Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I'm betting (hoping) Arcadia will reissue the 1/24. Quote
jenius Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I'm betting (hoping) Arcadia will reissue the 1/24. I dunno, it's a 5 year old toy now and it did pretty poorly upon release before becoming a holy grail item. With Arcadia doing a brand new Garland I would think that if they go back to the Patlabor well they'd do it with a new version. I still would love to see Arcadia make a 1/24 universe and give us some 1/24 Votoms toys too... Quote
DarrinG Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I have a pretty cool Patlabor cel and douga up for auction - hope its OK I post this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181964010341?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 It's from the Early Days OVA vs the dreaded Pickel Kun . . . jenius Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 http://blog.livedoor.jp/tamashii_robot/2786049201616What does it mean? Quote
seti88 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 There will be a display of robot damishii labors next weekend at the akihabara exhibit, apparently to start the labor line! Quote
arbit Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Very excited about this. I wonder about the scale and line. Seems like some kind of Tamashii Metal Build? Quote
seti88 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I wouldn't speculate yet whether it is or not. All it seems to imply is a launch next weekend. Perhaps someone in JP can confirm. Quote
treatment Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) I just hope its not a Robot Damashi. It's a Robot Damashii/ Robot Spirits. It says so already. Bandai will usually specify "MetalBuild" or "Metal Robot" if it's an actual MetalBuild or Metal Robot, respectively. Edited May 13, 2016 by treatment Quote
dizman Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I'm a little excited to see how poseable the RD Patlabor will be. The RD line is usually pretty good and comes with a bunch of extras, here's hoping we get a few Griffons and maybe a type zero out of the line. Quote
treatment Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 new promo pics from tamashii.jp http://tamashii.jp/special/pickup/201610gizk/ Quote
seti88 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Proportions look good, even the big bunny ear! If it comes with a opening holster and extendable hand am sold! But since its a RD it probably wont? Quote
Mr March Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Whoa, is that a new figure? I saw one small picture on FB, but these look REALLY good! Any details? Quote
dizman Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 All we know so far is that it's probably coming out in September. Alphonse looks really accurate, I'd assume it comes with either an extendy arm or an add on piece to give it the look. I kinda want that scout car too . Quote
QEssential Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I am a huge Patlabor fan! And this one looks real anime accurate! But hope it comes with rubber or cloth parts instead of moulded plastic... Can this beat the Revoltech ones? Quote
SaitouSad Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 But hope it comes with rubber or cloth parts instead of moulded plastic... Can this beat the Revoltech ones? Rubber? Not even on a cold day in hell. That crap will wear out so fast... Cloth, while nice (see Yamato one) is something Bandai seems to shun away from, probably a cost issue when it comes to mass production. As to whether it can beat the Revoltech, I'd wager it definitely will. the RD line tends to favour ABS over PVC, which make the figures look more like a proper mecha, whereas the Revoltech Ingram used a lot of PVC, giving it a gummy look, not to mention eventually leaking plasticizer after it's been in my cabinet for so many years. Quote
Big s Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I have a feeling that the joint covers are just molded pvc, but then again the dunbine ones were abs if I remember. Quote
Duymon Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 This fig is an insta buy. Robot Damashii has been a pretty solid line the last 5-6 years and I also don't have any TV-ver ingrams Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I hope Bandai goes all the way with this, unlike their Labor in Action line. Quote
IXTL Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Patlabor RD's on display http://www.taghobby.com/1-0/1-1/不斷更新-2016年5月21日-22日-魂features-2016-x-akiba-showroom-bandai展品-robot魂/ Quote
Duymon Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) OOOOOhhhh Ingram Unit 1,2,3 + Command Car. Judging by the panel on Unit 2's leg the pistol storage door opens. Phantom Tyrant This line better do well so that we can see the Helldiver, AV economies, Saturn, Peacemaker, Griffin.... maybe the Bulldog and hannibal too? Edited May 20, 2016 by Duymon Quote
Big s Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 The green one does look great, but it has a different tag so it may just be a prototype. Bandai does sometimes turn those odd ones int a real release though. Quote

Bandai does sometimes turn those odd ones int a real release though. Actually that green Tyrant 2000 has a tag, you can see a tiny bit of it to the left. It was also featured in the initial teaser photos a while back. I just really want the entire TV line including the helldiver, peacemaker, Hannibal, bulldog, saturn, AVS Econo 1/2, griffin, brocken and maybe if we're lucky labor X, Python and CLAT Ingrams I really love how the Ingrams are posed like they are on the Alphonse Special Pack, which was the Bomb back when I was in Grade School Some footage of the display Edited May 21, 2016 by Duymon Quote

treatment Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 It may seem that Bandai's gonna throw in another "extra" or something if you order the RD-Ingram directly from Tamashii-Website: http://tamashii.jp/event/173/ Quote
charger69 Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 (edited) It's 12.5cm in height! That means it's 1/64 in scale!! Higly possible for me to make a diorama with DX VF-25s Edited May 31, 2016 by charger69 Quote
