bandit29 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I'm pretty sure you'd be able to pick from the 3 at the start: Original Rondo Arranged Rondo Enhanced SOTN (With redone voices finally!) Articles are saying Original Rondo and SOTN will be unlockables...ugh I hope not.
savior_myst Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Articles are saying Original Rondo and SOTN will be unlockables...ugh I hope not. Nooooooo !!!
Gaijin Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Articles are saying Original Rondo and SOTN will be unlockables...ugh I hope not. I hope not either. I could handle the original Rondo being an unlockable but SOTN should be available from the start since they are revamping the voices, etc.
promethuem5 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I'd like to think the only unlockable would be the original Rondo, but I;d rather be able to chose them all from the start anyways...

I'll miss "What is a man" "Have at you"(or something like that) Maybe they'll include dual audio so we can have the original mess I wonder if this remake of SOTN will later become a PS3 download?
promethuem5 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Dual audio with the original dialogue would be pretty fun... silly, but fun.
Ginrai Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Uhm, so is it going to have new JAPANESE voice acting, new AMERICAN voice actor, both, what?
bandit29 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Just picked up Metal Slug Anthology. Awesome. too bad I'm terrible at these games lol Thankfully there's optional infinite continues... Its out at EB/Gamestop now. Should be at other stores like Best Buy next week.
TheLoneWolf Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Articles are saying Original Rondo and SOTN will be unlockables...ugh I hope not. Why the "ugh?" If the arranged Rondo is a straight port of the original (replacing the old 2D with 3D), it'll be well worth beating. Plus, it can be beaten in one sitting, it's not like you'll have to wait a long time What I want to know is if the cut scenes from original Rondo will be redubbed by Americans or just subtitled (I'm hoping it's the latter!).
yellowlightman Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I think the ''ugh' was that you'd have to beat the ugly new 3D version to get the original.
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 I just read a mag earlier (can't remember the name) that showed screen shots of CV-X, and it looks bad a$$! The graphics are really nice and gives a nice 3D feel to it (but stays 2D). It also said that the game will dubbed, not subtitled.
promethuem5 Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 That's good... the game really should be dubbed. I cannot WAIT for Castlevania goodness on the PSP... it's what I've been waiting for since I got it.
Gabe Q Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Is anybody else excited about the Final Fantasy Tactics sequel coming up? I played the original one for months. I might pick up a PSP just for that title.
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I don't think my wife would like me getting ANOTHER game that will take up my time. I'm already engrossed with SOCOM Fireteam Bravo II (and it's PS2 counter part Combined Assault). She was about ready to smack me when I mentioned Rondo!
promethuem5 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I must admit, I've got the first PSP SOCOM, and I'm really not impressed with it... I like realistic stuff more, but I find SOCOM simply frustrating... not very fun, and kind of a drag to play... by the time you figure out the objectives and die enough times, it feels like a chore.
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 FTB2 has a better replay value to it than the first one did. Better weapons, more actions, controls allow for more actions now too. I just wish they'd design a controller add on that can be plugged into the USB mini port on the back that would allow us to have TWO analog controls and FOUR shoulder buttons.
promethuem5 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 That WOULD be nice... MGSPO would actually be the perfect portable game with that.

I've seen some online too.
Ladic Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 now that prices have dropped, im thinking of picking up a psp. but mostly i want it for playing mp3, web browsing and playing roms like nes, snes and genensis. anyone know a good website that can teach me this stuff?
Gunbuster Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 has anyone try out M.A.C.H. or AfterBurner on the PSP? if so, what are your thoughts on it?
Dat Pinche Haro! Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 thanks I would try looking for a used system that's already hacked or a system with the 1.5 firmware... I really wish I didn't sell my psp...
Metal_Massacre_79 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 If you're wanting a PSP for web browsing, you're going to be angry. It's like going back to dial up, since everything loads really slow. Typing text on it is a PITA since so chat/forum type usage is pointless. Checking email and such is OK at best but again it's really slow.
zeo-mare Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 i am not to interested in a rtype strategy if it was a true shooter i would be all over it. chris
zeo-mare Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 yea its a strategy game, you take turns and the ships shoot back and forth at each other this is what i am undertsanding , on the page where they show the first boss from rtype one you can see the hexegon grid for when you make your move, i am not to intersted in this game chris
yellowlightman Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I wasn't interested in R-Type Tactics until I saw the screenshots, looks like it's a side-scrolling strategy game. As the levels are viewd from the side, but you still move on a hex grid. Goofy enough it could be an interesting game.
Ladic Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 best thing about the psp slim, is finally TV - OUT, why couldnt this idiots have done it from the beginning? now I might actually buy one.

eugimon Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 yeah, the slim is pretty cool. If I can find my psp, I might trade it in for one. Too bad I haven't played it since, uhm... uhm... uhm.. sine street fighter alpha. When was that, a year ago?
Keith Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Meh, my MGS Portable Ops casing wouldn't fit over that, so I'm fine with my classic model
