Need Help With Avatar Uploading Problem.

Well, I'm back.

I'm having trouble changing my avatar. When I select the pict I want from my browser, the only result is that my old avatar simply changes pixel size.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have the same problem every time I change my avatar.

I solved the problem by uploading an avatar to an imaga server like imageshack, then linking to that url.

Clearing your browser cache before submitting the new avatar usually fixes it. Should be the last thing you do before clicking "upload avatar" I believe. Either that or right after entering the "edit avatar settings" page.

Method for clearing the cache varies with browser, or I'd tell you where to go.

I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. And the funny thing is, I don't have this problem on other message boards. Only the ones using Invision Power Boards (Macross World and Macross Nexus).

I would upload/link an avatar from my Photobucket gallery. But when going through the normal method of doing so, it doesn't work.

I suspect it's a IPB bug.

And I can't do Firefox. It's not a browser I've used for any degree of time.

If they maintain the menu structure of Mozilla, it'll be in edit/preferences dialog somewhere, but I'm not sure the menus are the same.
