Duymon Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Let's just hope we can get a full set with just one box Quote
misterryno Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Phewwww......there was alot in this post to read. I wouldn't mind getting these little guys, but with all the QC issues people have i am not too sure. Someone wanna twist my arm a bit to get these? Quote

Honestly, people complaining about these being not perfect, I don’t understand. I love them. They cant be perfect because they are so small but I guarantee, they are better than any other of the small scale Valks. For $6 a pop, they are works of art. Quote

ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Yeah man specially if you haven't got any of the first series. I had very little to no QC issues with mine. Quote
misterryno Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I will DEFINETLY consider these now. The detail IS AMAZING!!! Quote
nugundamII Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I will DEFINETLY consider these now. The detail IS AMAZING!!! Where can you buy these?? Quote
misterryno Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Where can you buy these?? THere are a few different places I have seen sell them.....a couple of them were.....BigBadToyStore(bbts.com) and another was on FeeBay(eBay). I am SURE that there are plenty of other places though. If anyone knows where to go for the best price on these....PLEASE let me know. THANKS. Quote
Duymon Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Hmmm... just looking at the series 2 page it looks like the Minmei guard is no longer a 1J, its a 1S Quote
jenius Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Still no word on the chase? I liked the first set chase... especially since it was in almost every box. Quote
wolfx Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Still no word on the chase? I liked the first set chase... especially since it was in almost every box. Its a VF-4. Maybe. Quote
jenius Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I'm pretty sure it'll just be a repaint of the VF-1... making it a completely different toy wouldn't make a lot of sense I'm afraid. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Its a VF-4. Maybe. You suck!!!!!!!!! Quote
wolfx Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I'm pretty sure it'll just be a repaint of the VF-1... making it a completely different toy wouldn't make a lot of sense I'm afraid. Well most chase figures are different toys/sculpts even amongst the CM's line so I don't see why not. Quote
ShadowerV2 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I'm guessing the secret is the Minmay Guard 1S! Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) No, that would mean there is '2' Minmay Guards. The line up shown everywhere is the same number of line up in series one (without Max Chase). There i one missing. And so far STILL unknown! *grrrr* Edited January 20, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
wolfx Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 well u won't know until it comes out. So wait for it. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) ... i know i won't know it's just that its not a 1S Minmay Guard! 2 Minmay Guards??? Edited January 20, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
wolfx Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I sincerely hope they change it into a 1S though since the Minmay guard has always been a 1S. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) i can't remember, wasn't it a 1S (the 1/144 series 2) to begin with in the pics? That's what i was stating, that they won't bring out 2 Minmay Guards, just the one. Edited January 20, 2008 by ruskiiVFaussie Quote
Vifam7 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) I think I've found out what the "secret" VF-1 is going to be. I read Japanese. It says here that when you combine Collection1's Hikaru VF-1 with Collection2's Max VF-1 and the "secret", you'll be able to form Skull Squadron. That means the "secret" is probably a Roy Fokker VF-1S w/o fast packs or a Kakizaki VF-1 (but didn't he fly a CF VF-1? Or did he get a green-trim VF-1 in the TV series? I forget). Anyway, Boooring! I wish hoping for a "low-viz" VF-1. If not that, a VF-1 in VX-4 "Black Bunny" colors. Edited January 20, 2008 by Vifam7 Quote
jenius Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 The first chase was Max's VF-1A. The text you quoted makes me think the next chase will be Kakizake's VF-1A although that completes Vermilion not Skull Squadron. Quote
Hiriyu Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 My guess is/was VE-1. They've already tooled the nose/canopy for the DYRL 2-seater (Ostrich), so.... Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Makes more sense to include the Elintseeker in series 3, along with the 1D. Quote
Duymon Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I've got 2 boxes of them on order so if I don't get a rare I'll prolly flip Quote
Duymon Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 It looks like i'm paying about 110 dollars shipped from BBTS, but I'll find out the real number later on. It'll be about 5.50 per valk which is much better than the 8 dollars + shipping that others charge on evilbay Quote

Both had fast packs and I read on YHJ in a seller's description an allusion to 7, so we'll see. If they stick with the Valks only then there is still the DYRL VF-1S Max and the TV VF-1A Max as well... It's in their best interest to start to introduce newer series' fighters since that will extend the number of series to produce. It worked for CMS! Edited January 26, 2008 by Zinjo Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 burrrrmp! Whats the secret valk! Quote
jenius Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 LOL, i love the ebay sellers selling these already and they don't even know what the secret valk is. I remember one ad "ALL 6 + SEACRET" but of course, only a pic of the six. Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Yeah. well someone in HK or Japan must know atleast! February already.. gah! Quote
ruskiiVFaussie Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) At least i know you wouldn't bull$hit us mate, fair enough! DYRL? kaki 1A? I spose just fighter no FP's then? Be good to find some pics of the whole series 2 set. I wonder if series 3 will ever make it out? We still need 1D, Elint, and they could be flexible with colour schemes, and perhaps they may grace us with a Regult or something. I nicely sculpted and POSEABLE Q-Rau 1/144 would be kick ass.
