op4_delta Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 This is my VF-0 model, as you can see is still unfinished, mostly because I am having problems with the head articulation (I have no clue how it is) so any pictures, linearts and vidcaps will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Quote
Knight26 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Nice, so just curious are you making a game mod or somethign with these? Quote
op4_delta Posted November 16, 2006 Author Posted November 16, 2006 My innoncent intentions are to use this thing on a flight simulator like Lock On, but my long term objective is to make more models and create a "unification wars" pack, that could be used to start a mod, but I am not sure about wich game engine to use. Steve68 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 There is a flight simulator engine out there that you can add this too. There are limitations to the engine though i.e. it uses gravity so space might be hard to simulate. However Macross Zero was entirely inside Earths gravity so that shouldn't be too big of an issue. http://www.targetware.net/ I suggested a Macross mod in this thread: http://www.targetware.net/modules.php?op=m...opic&t=7124 Steve Quote
op4_delta Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 The model is about 15,000 polys, I try to keep it low for game use. I had no idea that game existed, it looks great, if that mod happens count me in, totally. Quote
Sdf-1 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I don't know anything about this stuff, but just remembered this: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...877&hl=vsim Maybe it could be used in that too? Quote
op4_delta Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 I never heard of that project before, looks interesting. Quote
vsim Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I don't know anything about this stuff, but just remembered this: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...877&hl=vsim Maybe it could be used in that too? lol, I was wandering through the forums and ran into a reference to my own game, woot! lol. I still haven't incorporated any models into the game yet, lack of time for like 6 months straight has hit me and I REALLY want to get things moving again. I'm hoping sometime this month to get my initialy cut at the control system for the VF-1 done and then HOPEFULLY get a model to dink around with and try to manipulate it. So I'm not quite ready for a model yet, but I'll be begging when I am, trust me Quote
op4_delta Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 My models are not moving anywhere, so you can count on them for your sim Quote
