Mechafan Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 That has to be the steal of the decade. I would have bidded on that one. Quote
Deimos Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 WOW. Were there NO MW'ers watching this auction b/c at that price it's the steal of the month. I was watching it, but I have my strikes already . did not expect it to end with such attractive final bids ! if not, I could have another Quote
1 VF-1 2NV Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 WOW. Were there NO MW'ers watching this auction b/c at that price it's the steal of the month. Of course there were MW'ers watching it , but with all the stuff Yamato is coming out with (yf-19,???,???) and has already released (vf-0a, kakizaki, stealth, etc...) no one has enough $$$ anymore . jenius Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 With every Yamato release the old classics become worth less and less. Quote
glane21 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 The seller is a member here. That had to hurt to give it up that cheap considering what I think he probably paid for it. Quote
drifand Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 With every Yamato release the old classics become worth less and less. Only in a monetary sense. The 1/55s are toy treasure! :-) Quote
DARKWIND Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Hell, I stopped shopping ebay for valks when the first YF-19 released. . . . But had I seen that, S#!t yeah I would have snapped it up! ! ! Quote
big F Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Well I missed that Dont know how as I check eBay regularly. Had I noticed it that low it would now be mine. Quote
Macross73 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Of course there were MW'ers watching it , but with all the stuff Yamato is coming out with (yf-19,???,???) and has already released (vf-0a, kakizaki, stealth, etc...) no one has enough $$$ anymore . I think your right , this may be the answer the Wallet can only take so many hits before it has to say "No More! No more!? ...Ok, maybe just one more." Quote
do not disturb Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 you gotta feel bad for GHQ, thats one crispy strike valk. Quote
MechTech Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I saw that when it was going for $29.00! I'm not a toy guy, but you can't beat the classics! I thought it would excellerate to way more than that! Kicking self in butt... - MT Quote
myk Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 What are the Ostrich's and 'Elints going for these days? Quote
jenius Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Kensei, I'm pretty sure that's a reference to the 1/55 SuperO and Elint. Last I checked they still fetch $450-$600 Quote
kensei Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 (edited) Forgot, thanks. I was thinkin 1/60. I still don't know why you would pay around half a K for that sucker. I could get a case of 1/48s with that! Beauty dewa nai! To each his own though. Edited November 15, 2006 by kensei Quote
Retracting Head Ter Ter Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I would have bidded for that! Didn't see it. I love the box. Yeah, now that the Yamato's are out, I find the box more attractive then the chunky munkey it holds. Quote
Graham Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Damn, there go my plans to sell my last remaining Bandai Strike for US$1,000! Graham Quote

Fortress_Maximus Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Kind of makes me want to seriously consider holding off on buying anymore new Yammies. Quote
eugimon Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 wow... that's a seriously ridiculous price! makes me wanna toss all my yammie boxes and store them more efficiently... haha... but then again, if yammies ever hit a grand a piece, I might want to sell some off. Quote
