RATE SD GUNDAM AND OTHERS...

i've heard very bad things about sd gundam force. is it really a bad show. i know little about the gundam series but am about to start watching gundam seed, which i here is good. my friend also has some sd gundam but all the reviews i've seen say it's not very good.

also if you've seen any of the shows below, your comments would be appriciated.

Gundam Seed and SD Gundam Force are both very medicore Gundam shows.

The best Gundam series (rated by the critics) are:

Mobile Suit Gundam

Gundam Zeta

Gundam 0083

Gundam 08th MS Team

Best Gundam Movies:

Gundam Char's Counterattack

Gundam F91

I'd recommend starting with either Gundam 0083 or Gundam 08th, both have self contained stories which can be watched by those that are new to the Gundam franchise.

I love Gundam, and all things Gundam, except for G gundam which I disliked, but I wasn't big on Dragonball Z type stuff either. I noticed while most people are a little closed minded and only like UC I'm a little more accepting of Gundam. I like them all to an extent, but here's how I rank them:

1. Gundam Wing (Yeah, you can boo, I don't care, the mech designs were the most inspired to date, and a decent story to boot)

2. 08th team (My favorite UC series)

3. Gundam Seed (Yeah, it could've been better, but I personally really liked it)

4. The rest of the UC universe (I'm a lazy typist)

5. Seed Destiny

6. G Gundam

7. SD Gundam ( I like it from a satirical standpoint, but that's about it)

Seed Gundam is pretty stupid IMHO. The characters are the same as before, with a prettier robot. Save us the trouble and just sell us the toys without the idiotic cartoon to go with it. Kids don't make better mecha pilots because of ridiculous genetic advantages.
