Draykov Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 (edited) It took me a while to put my faith in the 1/48 line. Once I did though, I sort of turned my back on the 1/60 (though I couldn't resist getting the VT-1 and VE-1). So, what's potentially left for the 1/60 line? I'm not sure how likely any of these are or whether the demand would be enough to convince Yamato to make them, but this is what I've come up with: Q-Rau Destroids GBP-1 armor (yup, it's on its way: 1:60 GBP-1 !?) TV Max VF-1A TV/DYRL Kakizaki VF-1A cannon fodder VF-1J Hikaru/Max VF-1S Cat's Eye recon plane SF-3A Lancer II Mecha from the other Macross series Thoughts? Edited October 9, 2003 by Draykov Quote
tom64ss Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Don't forget.... Regults Zen Fighters Glaugs Nousjadeul-Gers Fan Racer Max's Virgin Road VF-1D Quote
Draykov Posted October 9, 2003 Author Posted October 9, 2003 Max's Virgin Road VF-1D Although a lot of folks would say that's just more of the same thing combined, I think that'd be cool. That one never occured to me. Quote
Godzilla Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Max's Virgin Road VF-1D What does that look like? Technically, I like 1/48s a lot better than the 1/60. I bought too many 1/60 DRYL ones. 2 of each. 1 would be fine but after 1/48, I have to turn my back on it. If I didn't, I would be flat broke. Quote
tom64ss Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I want some Regults more than anything. I've always loved it's "eyeball with chicken legs" look. Quote

Same as the regular VF-1D, except with Max's VF-1J paint job. It's the one he's flying during his wedding. Quote
Draykov Posted October 9, 2003 Author Posted October 9, 2003 (edited) What does that look like? Basically, it's a VF-1D with the same scheme as Max's VF-1J. Hasegawa makes a 1/72 model. Edited October 9, 2003 by Draykov Quote

Draykov Posted October 9, 2003 Author Posted October 9, 2003 (edited) But doesn't it have a VF-1A head? Well, then it wouldn't be a VF-1D would it? The Hasegawa kit is based on the original release VF-1D (orange and tan) so that's definitely got the usual D head. Edited October 9, 2003 by Draykov Quote
MicronianDevil Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 I'm still waiting for the 1/60 Max and Kakizaki TV 1As. Quote

Uxi Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 I'd like to see 1/60 (yes 1/60) scale low visibility -1A and -1J. Quote
Aegis! Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 If we're lucky enough , Yamato will make the remaining SDF Macross mecha. In regards to the other series , I think Yamato will make them in 1/72. Quote

ewilen Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 I don't think you'll ever see those in a toy, but here's hoping they at least do a VF-4. Quote
robokochan Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 I would love to see someone (even Yamato) make the VF-2SS. It's just a sweet plane! Rob MN Quote
Druna Skass Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 If Yamato makes the VF-2SS I hope they also make the VF-2AJ. I like it's sort of futuristic yet modern look. Quote
GobotFool Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 The stampeed valk, is that just an armored up VF-1? Quote
kensei Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 What about this? http://nanashi.macrossmecha.info/ and... Crikey. I thought that thing was stuck in fighter mode. I didn't know that it could transform with that stuff on! Quote
91WhiskeyM6 Posted October 15, 2003 Posted October 15, 2003 Looks like a Gundam crossed with a Valk Armor. Quote
