Also try the F-14's Heater-Ferris for variation. F-4's, too. Very famous type. (Often simply called Ferris, as Heater-Ferris is pretty much F-14/15-specific) Quote

Makes it hard to tell what angle you're seeing, which way it's going, etc. Actually easier to see overall, but very hard to tell WHAT you're seeing, and which way it's going. More common on ships than planes.
