KirKTimN Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 (edited) Hi. New to the forums. I wanted to make sure that the 1/48 Yamato VF-1A Angel Bird has the same improvements as the VF-1A Maximilian Jenius. (I would assume that it's the exact same except with a different paint scheme). Also, I've heard about 2nd and 3rd generation VF-1S Yamatos. What improvements were made for those? Edited October 30, 2006 by KirKTimN Quote
Hurin Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Hi. Check out the release list at the Macross Nexus. Every release after the February 2003 release of the Roy VF-1S incorporates the fixes of the Max VF-1A (released in May, 2003). So, the only valkyries without those fixes are the first edition Hikaru VF-1A and Roy VF-1S. All later editions had the fixes. Best, H Quote
kensei Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Sounds like you heard from my review at TMP. http://www.tmpforums.com/index.php?showtopic=12890&st=0 Hurin summarised it perfectly. There are only two runs that you have to watch out for. I think they are pretty much gone from the stores unless you buy one secondhand. Quote
