Vegas Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 does anybody know the SOC release timeline or a link to that?
chowyunskinny Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 (edited) Yeah, Bandai's Tamashii Web Soul of Spec is at the top, Soul of Chogokin is the 3rd one down. If you click on the link next to the green arrow it takes you to the Section for that Subline It goes chronologically from most recent to oldest, so the first items in the line would be on page 1 Edited March 16, 2008 by chowyunskinny
jwinges Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I think this is the second release of the original toy. I'm sure the repaint will follow. I'm hoping they made a few improvements but I'm not sure if they have or not. I'm just happy to be getting one. They were all sold out when I tried last time. The repaint looks interesting as well...I'm going to have to rewatch the series agian to think about that one. Supposedly you can attach like 9 or so of the vectors together if you want to. I know there used to be a vid of Kwaramori making some very interesting combinations out of 3-4 of the complete toys.
Beltane70 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 It's more than just a repaint, if we're both thinking of the military version Aquarion. I have the military version and from what I recall of the original Aquarion, the military version has a few cosmetic differences.
promethuem5 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 You know what just occurred to me? It'd be bat-f*ing awesome if Bandai made a Dougram toy or two in the SoC line...they can do obscure Xabungle stuff, so why not FotS:Dougram???
IXTL Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) Tamashii Nation 2008 exhibition. http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/iam-cybergundam/article?mid=8367 Includes pics of Daimos and new Jeeg in colour plus SPEC L-Gaim prototype and special SOC set displays etc. Edited March 20, 2008 by IXTL

Not sure about anything else.
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Tamashii Nation 2008 exhibition. Includes pics of Daimos and new Jeeg in colour plus SPEC L-Gaim prototype and special SOC set displays etc. That L-Gaim proto looks really cool. Thanks.
drifand Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 You know what just occurred to me? It'd be bat-f*ing awesome if Bandai made a Dougram toy or two in the SoC line...they can do obscure Xabungle stuff, so why not FotS:Dougram??? Wasn't that on Takara-Tomy's plate? It would be the perfect follow up to the VOTOMS Dual Model Zwei series, although not likely to be 1/18 scale, of course. I/48 would be most excellent.
Mowe Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I am sold with L-Gaim. Always wanted a good quality L-Gaim. The Daimos doesn't look as nice as the promo art works...I hope the final product would improve.
Fort Max Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 Yes! L-Gaim, finally a new SOC I actually want to buy.
EXO Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Wow, that L-Gaim looks great. I swore off SOCs but I might jut get that.
IXTL Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 More Tamashii Nation 2008 Pics. http://toycan.web.fc2.com/goukin.html
BoBe-Patt Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I'm definitely getting that Daimos and L-Gaim! nice!!
Vegas Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 godmars is really looking so good. kinda disappointed at daimos' feet, he's like wearing clogs
Fort Max Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) Holy crap, the next SOC is a Super Robot Wars mech! http://f20.yahoofs.com/hkblog/_veuUfCRGAWr...b_____DryBl0vQB Could it possibly be, dare I get my hopes for... SRX! *brain explodes* Variable formation FTW! Edited March 21, 2008 by Fort Max

IXTL Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 SPEC L-Gaim magazine scan. http://hk.rd.yahoo.com/blog/mod/art_title/...rticle?mid=8482
promethuem5 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Is SPEC L-gaim going to have complete skeleton w/ snap on armor? I love the SPEC Dragonar, but just wish the armor stayed on a little better on the legs...
ruskiiVFaussie Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Whats that? Bottom right Asti mech, is that the Black Sarena release? Also my bro loves the B/Sarena SPEC, so atleast he's getting it instead of us both canceling.
Beltane70 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Whats that? Bottom right Asti mech, is that the Black Sarena release? Aye, that is the Aestivalis that is the main part of the Black Selena. I plan to be picking up my own in about two weeks or so.
IXTL Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 (edited) New magazine scans. Thanks to Toysdaily. Edited March 24, 2008 by IXTL
VFTF1 Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Daimos looks really great! By the by - does anyone have the SOC Getter Robo set? Would appreciate pics/impressions. VFTF1
Fort Max Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 Cool scans, L-Gaim I want, Daimos looks very well done and I might buy it but I doubt it. No mention of that mystery SRW SOC yet, guess we won't find out what it is they're planning for another month or two yet given that T-28 only has a little tiny teaser pic.
eriku Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Daimos looks like it's going to compete with CM's Legioss/Tlead for my own personal TOTY.
IXTL Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Some Daimos scans over at Howza-life blog. http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/howza-life/arti...1&next=8383
Macross73 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 the word over at RJ is that SOC GX-44 will be Tetsujin 80s version
VFTF1 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Ewww... I prefer pre-dietmaster Tesujin.... This guy is just too chiselled. VFTF1
CF18 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 GODMARS! http://www.toy-world.com.hk/forum/viewthre...;extra=page%3D1 http://www.toy-world.com.hk/forum/viewthre...;extra=page%3D1 http://www.toy-world.com.hk/forum/viewthre...;extra=page%3D1 Black Sarina http://hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/200...ksare_4fa0.html
eriku Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Ewww... I prefer pre-dietmaster Tesujin.... This guy is just too chiselled. VFTF1 To me Tetsujin just isn't Tetsujin unless he's fatter than sin. That said, I do like the 80's version, but I just try to think of it as some other super robot that bears some resemblance to T28.
Necron_99 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I have absolutely no idea who Godmars is, but that is cool.
Vifam7 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) [deleted] Never mind. I should've looked at the previous page. Edited March 28, 2008 by Vifam7
VFTF1 Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Godmars is indeed kickbutt - and I would put him right up there with Gunbuster, Dancouga, and Daimos as an "I want!" item. The one thing that bothers me about Godmars - although this isn't his fault - is that the component robots don't turn into anything... I guess I've just been conditioned by transformers that that is what is SUPPOSED to happen... But it's a great accomplishment - that Godmars - no doubt. VFTF1
